Yeah, you'd have to get the #4 well before OKC made the pick. Once they do, I don't think we can compete and I wonder if the pick would even be available.
At least Rivers won something with Boston. Mike is too nice of a person, it's just not working for him as a coach dealing with stars and divas. He is a genius planer not a general.
Tough to say, the teams willing to trade 7th and 4th want win-now players, so OKC's picks might have less sway with only their war chest. OKC don't have many win now guys who they're willing to part with. Giddy/SGA aren't getting moved, so if OKC is offering it'll be around guys like a Dort, which most teams like but might not be enough. 12th+Dort is not enough for the 4th. McNair would instantly hang up. Have to add to that pot. Pistons have their eyes on Ivey, so unless OKC gives next year picks to increase odds for Scoot/Wemby sweepstakes (also don't think Troy will give it up.) Also don't see Ivey falling past 5th pick. OKC will have to get creative maybe get 3rd team who values picks and have win now players that Kings might want. But if you're that 3rd team, wouldn't you just work with the Kings directly and get an Ivey. Depends on the 3rd team views Ivey I suppose. They can get Chet or Ivey, but it's hard to see them get both. Highest team odds for Ivey are King's with their 4th Pistons with their 5th if Kings take Keegan. Pacers trade up to get Ivey. A crazy one could be OKC give us couple our future pick(s) back unprotected for this year's 3rd. Then they take Ivey. That's highly unlikely.
I'd say he's more of a offensive coordinator. He's good but he's not what you'll only need in a team. You need a head coach and somebody to take care of defense other than a head coach if required.
Yup. If the Kings keep the pick, I’d bet they go Murray over Ivey. Ivey hasn’t even been in contact with the Kings, much less worked out for them.
Trade unprotected 2023 first+KMJ+Tate+2026 Nets first (unprotected) for #1. (Do this trade first) Wall+Bucks pick+#26+Nets 2024 pick lotto protected+Gordon (to third team?) for Turner and Brogdon. Gives Indy 4 firsts. Speeds up our rebuild. #1-Smith #3-Banchero #17-Eason Turner/Sengun Banchero/Garuba Smith/Eason Green/Jaygup Brogdon/KPJ
I would not be surprised if the league has more than a couple super young teams with potential. Competition going to be tough yet again.
Rockets got nothing that Pacers might want unfortunately. Turner would be perfect next to Wood and very good next to Banchero. Neither Turner nor Banchero are elite rebounders.
You should never come up with trade ideas the 2023 draft is arguably top heavy at one and two with Victor Wembanyama being one of the best prospects in years hell you should see what Mike Schmitz has said about victor.
