I'm old & fat. I could change the fat part, but I'll never be a crooner again. But watching this video of Nancy Wilson in 1985? And she wasn't the singer in that family, I forgot how much fun it was to be in the studio with folks that cared about you and wanted your voice to be the best. I really miss that.
Final Product for the kids: And FYI, you're hearing the song with your voice in the headphones so you can perfect to tone. Again, I do miss it.
I love that. If you know a good Youtuber I know I song I'd love to redo, and it deserves it. But these days I'm all about my son and throwing everything at his formidable career.
Wife's got a full Pro Tools digital studio, with a whole bunch of hard-to-find vintage gear. Bunch of RCA vintage ribbon mics, and newer tube mics, etc. Full vocal booth, all kinds of vintage outboard gear, a Rhodes, A Hammond C2 with a Leslie, and a **** ton of guitars and amps. Conveniently located inside the loop. We can make Fatty, Live in Montrose anytime you want.
3 years ago I got serious about playing my guitar. I'm about 3 weeks away from checking "Play an open mic night" off my bucket list. If it makes you happy and you want to do it.... go for it.
I also miss singing and want to convey a painted mental picture of recording with Dylan and Neil Young in our studio where we post for attention on Clutchfans. Hey lookie here! I'm a homophobic crooner who dates 50 women at a time. Do you know that *** Jeff?
I've been practicing the bass for about 6 months now (already play guitar). Ultimate goal is to actually join a band as a bass player without them knowing that my primary instrument is the drums. BTW, I'm 52. Never too late, right?
AC/DC Look, this might be odd, but I've loved this band since I was 12. Nobody's going to like this song. But this is one of those odd times where I'm going to defer.
