    I have two minds about this:

    1) You wanna read to or otherwise entertain children? Be my guest. We need more people who want to do that. Drag Queen's loud outfits and boisterous/silly personalities are pretty captivating to kids I imagine.

    2) You wanna teach kids about or otherwise expose them to sex and gender? That's gonna be a no from me, dog.

    If you're the kind of person who just sees Drag Queens and thinks "I don't want that person interacting with my child" that's your right but I don't see much harm in it. I suppose it comes down to whether or not you see trans (or drag) as some type of moral failing. There's a lot of people in that camp (IMO unfortunately) but I think there's a lot more people (including trans/drag folks themselves) in the "just don't go teaching kids about sex/gender or exposing them to sexualisation" camp.

    I always thought those kinds of events about teaching kids to accept people who are different so they don't bully other kids, and not about teaching them about sex.
