remember with zion wasn't going to be the #1 pick and media/twitter folks tried to throw that out there. Folks around here are so gullible Following an NBA draft is so obviously new to a lot of folks around here. It's hilarious reading through posts
media always does this leading up to the draft because it’s boring when the draft order is set way in advance…so now it’s time to create a story “Green killed his workout in Detroit and Cade’s was meh…Cade to Detroit is def not set in stone, there’s a real chance Green goes #1”…meanwhile, Detroit was locked in on Cade from day 1, and there was a reason he never even bothered to visit another team Jabari and Chet aren’t even bothering to go to Houston for a workout…maybe it’s bravado, or maybe they know there’s no point

Yeah same here. I like all 4 guys in the top 4, although I rank Ivey 4th. I'm happy with any of the three guys we could get and would rather save assets. All of them seem like solid players but none jump out to me at least as total game changers. That's not to say their careers will be equal, but a lot of how your career goes is also due to circumstance and fit.
so basically just another random guy giving his opinion, just like anyone else on the internet and podcast
I hear ya but I just think 1 guy is on a tier above the others and we are not going to be able to use all of them anyway. I also think the other 2 have a high possibility to be high-end role players which would be underwhelming drafting this high? With that said it's good to have options.
I wouldn’t give up future draft assets but I’d gladly part with either or both of 17/26 to move up if I thought one of these guys has separated themselves.
Howard Hughes wingspan is 6'11 I was wanting for Banchero to have an Italian translator if you know what I mean.
There a week left and they all worked out for the top 3, there's not much any of the big 3 can do now to change a teams mind on who they want.
I guess because he has some post up move mainly from the high post, but the projection is that he can be reasonable 3 pt shooter. I think people are describing him as a better passer than when those 2 came out, but that may just be because those guys were international and poorly scouted. I also think I'm trying to talk myself into liking him as the pick. Dirk and Pau were probably the only offensive minded PF/C's with average defense who were the 1st or 2nd best player of a Championship team in the last 20-25 years or so. Rest of the other all-star or better PF/C player that have been used any projection were the 3rd best player.
Separated themselves in the sense that I had one in a tier above the other 2 after having gone the scouting process. Obviously nothing is likely to change at this point.
I will find it quite hilarious if Paolo ends up getting sniped at 2 and we end up with Chet suddenly. Fans will have hot take whiplash
Paolo Banchero says he's the best player in NBA Draft Less than a week before the 2022 NBA Draft, former Duke freshman phenom Paolo Banchero told reporters that the Orlando Magic should use its No. 1 overall pick on him. "I feel like I am the best player in the draft and I feel like I showed that throughout the year," he said Friday over Zoom. "I feel like I showed everything with my skill sets and my intangibles." Banchero had his most recent workout with the Rockets and commented on possibly playing alongside Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr. "Those are two extremely skilled, extremely talented players," Banchero said. "Both guys I've known for a while. I feel like playing with them would be fun. Both are unselfish guys. Guys who want to win." During an interview on Friday, Duke assistant coach Chris Carrawell also called Banchero "the best player in the draft." "When you get to the playoffs (in the NBA) you got to have a guy who can make and create shots," Carrawell said. "When the shot clock goes down, you've got to be able to throw the ball to a guy and have him create something. Paolo can do that right now."
