    Netflix has announced a September 23rd release date on its service for the Marilyn Monroe biopic “Blonde” starring “Knives Out” and “No Time to Die” actress Ana de Armas.

    Hailing from celebrated “Chopper,” “The Assassination of Jesse James” and “Killing Them Softly” director Andrew Dominik, the project is based on the bestselling novel by Joyce Carol Oates.

    The story boldly reimagines the complicated life of Monroe, blurring the lines of fact and fiction, the film artfully explores the tension between her public and private life.

    Still, they cast Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and it worked out Ok, so I guess this could work.

    I think my Dad would have enjoyed this. I inherited his liquor cabinet and he has a bunch of pin-ups of Marilyn on the inside cabinet door that I've obviously left in place in remembrance. I think my Dad would have married Marilyn had he not met my Mom.
