Don’t get me wrong - I’d love to see that trade if Sochan, Eason and Jalen Williams are all gone. But Atlanta would only trade him for something that helps them win now and I don’t think anyone at 17 is going to do that. As it is, he’s on a cheap rookie contract for 3 more years which means there’s no pressure to move him whatsoever for a pick.
They can have Tate too. Hawks need experienced perimeter defenders and Tate would be great fit. Hawks also need an experienced secondary playmaker. Sounds like Tate to me.
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2956721-2022-nba-mock-draft-2-round-predictions-and-latest-buzz 1. Orlando Magic: Jabari Smith (Auburn, PF, Freshman) 2. Oklahoma City Thunder: Chet Holmgren (Gonzaga, PF/C, Freshman) 3. Houston Rockets: Paolo Banchero (Duke, PF, Freshman) 4. Sacramento Kings: Jaden Ivey (Purdue, G, Sophomore) 5. Detroit Pistons: Keegan Murray (Iowa, F, Sophomore) Updated Top-3 Discussion Since lottery night, the assumption around the NBA has been that Orlando will take Smith. That's still whom NBA staffers would bet their money on at No. 1, but we're also hearing from teams that the Orlando Magic isn't out on Holmgren. Compared to Smith, Holmgren was far more effective at the rim, and he projects at the higher-impact defender and passer. It's that skinny frame that's the root of scouts' nerves. And teams are still wondering if Holmgren will take a physical. Holmgren has also been linked to the Thunder at No. 2, and most around the league are hearing that he'll be the Oklahoma City Thunder's pick if Orlando takes Smith. Meanwhile, there is belief from multiple rival teams that the Thunder figure to be enticed by Ivey as well. Almost every scenario has Banchero available to the Houston Rockets at No. 3. 17. Houston Rockets (via Nets): Ousmane Dieng (New Zealand Breakers, SG/SF, 2003) ________________________ Don’t have Insider but apparently Banchero/Eason. "After watching him train at his home in Memphis and taking him on a one-on-one visit to Houston, #Rockets seems 'high' on Paolo Banchero's talent, skill and fit."

Hollinger has really lost his touch. Hardy, Jovic, Agbaji falling out of first round? Mark Williams drafted after EJ Liddell, Kendall Brown, Dalen Tery???
Yeah, how dare he go against consensus! Not like consensus is ever wrong. Like that one time he went with Barnes at #2 last year, totally lost his touch and clueless!
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/...-surprise-prospect-jumping-into-top-five/amp/ Newest CBS mock draft just came out. Most notably - Sochan at #6, Shaedon Sharpe falling to 10, Jalen Duren falling to the Bulls at 18 and Rockets passing on him for Dalen Terry. Mark Williams falls to 23 and the rockets snag Wendell Moore at 26 which I’m honestly not that opposed to. Are these guys even trying to be realistic here or is the controversy influencing the almighty click more important… Duren at 18? I’ll have to see it to believe it.
NO WAY Jovic falls to #35. He's top 10 talent that could be had mid first round imo. He might be the highest "value" pick based on ceiling and draft position.
EJ Liddell can play, both offense and defense. Mark Williams is most defense. Capela-like. But you can't teach height.
I feel like that 10-12 range is huge. Murray, Sharpe, Daniels, Mathurin gets u to 8. It’s possible that Griffen, Sochan, Duren and Mark Williams are available in that range.
Did Dieng workout with us? From news floating around. Sacramento is lending toward Murray over Ivey. Pacers not going anywhere. I'll be surprise they pass up on Sharpe. Duren doesn't seem like the guy Spurs would pick. 6 more days to go. Can't wait.
Blake Wesley? Almost every most mock have have him in late first round. You never know. Primo wasn't in the green room and Spurs took him last year. Looking back in 2019 draft. All those mock draft have Jordan Poole going from mid 2nd round to undrafted. And GSW drafted him in first round.
