That's not how you rebuild. You collect the best players you can via draft/trade/FA and find best system and best HC to maximize their values and production. If necessary you trade away assets for BETTER players. Stone is doing it ass backwards.
Your post is garbage. Boban fixes locker rooms for a living. He's a 3.5 million dollar a year glue guy. If you don't like it (and I quote @DaDakota here), "turn off your internet". Also, fix your scrub declaration life while you're at it. I have the perfect cure for your garbage post right here:
Next year media narrative: Christian Wood was the NBA's best kept secret - Dallas got a steal saving him from Houston's "bad culture" and unlocking his greatness!
Dumping a locker room cancer who gives inconsistent effort that is looking for a massive payday in order to get better draft picks is EXACTLY how you rebuild. Wood isn't the kind of palyer you want on a team full of young players.
Maybe, but team I'm working with has him high and its before 26. I keep advising people don't believe that teams see the draft the way the media does.
But when he added Wood, he didn't think he was going full rebuild. Technically, like Wall and Gordon, Wood was part of the Harden era. With Harden gone, building around a guy like Wood who was never going to be the best or second best player on a serious contender and was already approaching his late 20s didn't make sense. I get what you're saying, but taking a team of 20 year olds and building around a 27-year-old with serious flaws in his game who's about to get paid in a year was not going to end well.
Christian Wood will be going to his 7th team. It will be his 7th year in the NBA next year. But he is worth more than a 26th pick in the NBA draft, they tell me. Mhmmm.
Probably furkan korkmaz to make the salaries work. Eric is exactly what the Sixers lack an big two way wing player who can stretch the floor. He also plays well with Harden
Sincere apologies to Boban, I fired off that reply without thinking about how wonderful it would be to have this man retire in Rockets red
I'd love to land Braun, being a Jayhawk fan makes me biased but he's a guy who could be in the rotation for a long time.
If you traded KPJ, and Tate 17th and 26th for say the 7th 10th or 11th pick and maybe a protected pick next season that is pretty much 3 FA signings (kpj was for a non conveying 2nd round pick) and the Nets pick for a lottery pick. I think that is a win in my opinion. Before the season giving up guys you signed as FA's and the Nets which were the favorites to win a championship to a top 11 lottery pick would be a great outcome.
We'd likely have to take him at 17 if we wanted him bad. Not sure he makes sense there, but if he does make it to 26 that could be great value.
You think? I haven't seen any mocks with him going that high, I see guys like Agbaji and TyTy mocked there all the time tho.
