Looks like we're going all in on cutting salary and tanking next season. I'm guessing that we could have gotten a pick a little bit higher, but with a couple of players of similar caliber, but not on expiring contracts. I'm just glad to see Wood gone. I know he had some fans here, and based just on his offensive stats, you'd think he'd be worth more, but I have to think Stone has plans to move up. 17, 26 and one or two of our players. I hope I don't get bent out of shape by who he deals, assuming he does. I might.
That is another good outcome. They have one more, essential tanking year left so they can accumulate as much high level talent as possible.
Burke might be useful. I don't know anything about Boban. Brown and Chriss probably will be waived. Brown is a nice guy. I wish we had room for him.
Never said that, and I'd appreciate it if you didn't misinterpret my posts. I'm saying that in the world of NBA trade rumors and free agency news, transparency and honesty is hardly a priority for the people providing the information to the media. Clutch or any other media member could very well be passing on information from a reliable source that they trust, and that reliable source could still very much be wrong. Again, I'll believe Eric Gordon is worth a first round pick when I see Eric Gordon traded for a first round pick. Not calling anyone a liar. I just choose not to 100% believe in reports from anonymous sources because I've been following the NBA for 25 years, and I know better not to.
Has to be a follow up trade, 26th picks are mostly busts. really liked 19-10 and 38% from 3pt range, but maybe more to his attitude, oh well. DD
so basically you just choose to believe when convenient. In this case, despite being told by one of the most respected that 1st round offers were on the table it doesn't apply because you just dont want to believe it and isn't credible enough. Got it. anyways, like ive said many times lets see what the poo poo platter EG nets when he finally gets moved. This situation will definitely be revisited
I agree. That the best they could get for a 20/10 guy who shoots nearly 40% from 3? That aside, at least they will be better. The offense looked a lot smoother without him in there trying to play selfish-ball.
Wood is worth so little, tells you what other teams think about "toxic" players in this league. I hope we never draft another player who is even slightly remotely toxic, now it's just KPJ we gotta worry about.
