Stone is so bad at this it’s hilarious. Wood is going to be a borderline all-star in Dallas and the Rockets got a late first in a bad draft for him.

    Yikes.

If not for the Memes, I might get a Boban Rockets jersey.

This board overrated Christian Wood soo much. There is a reason he's always on the worst team in the league. He just doesn't make winning plays. Empty stats mean nothing. He's Westbrook on crack.

i would given him away for free just so we can play Garuba and Sengun. Guys who actually try on defense.

why is he bad if that's the best he could get for him? only a team willing to pay him a big contract like cuban would be willing to trade for him? its because he only has one year left and teams know he wants a big pay day.

Stone should just stick to drafting and leave the trade negotiations to someone else.
    He got robbed.

I don't get it. I feel like Wood is better than the typical 26th pick.

I expected us to trade him but for more value.

I hope there's more to this.

As an anti-Mavs person, this is kinda scary.

I mean, he will be used to his full potential there a lot better. Feels like a garbage trade though and Clutchfans must be fainting when this board thought this man was worth a high 1st round pick lol.

Not sure what people were expecting on a return for Wood but now we can use 17 and 26 to move up or pick a guy we really want if he falls to us at 17 we have an extra frp.

Glad Wood is gone. He'll be better with Luka and a defensive C like Powell. Trade makes sense for both teams

It HAS to be a deal agreed to to move up.

I think Stone is going to buy out/cut every single guy coming back and it’s starting to feel like he’s got something else cooking for sure!

Happy to move him regardless of the pick but yeah this’ll be one of those trade people hang over Stones head in 2 years because I remember how good Harden made Wood look when Harden was engaged.

But the fact is on Houston he’s just holding the youngsters back and a locker room ticking time bomb on a losing team.

So I am totally fine with it.

Also this proves that Stone at the deadline overplayed his hand with EG.
