Just watched the 8th inning. What the hell was Seager thinking lol. Maybe he felt bad for Bregman. Oh well, I'll take it.
Bryan Abreau looks to have found his role in the bullpen. Really nice development, I could see him being the closer in a couple years.
Man, going back and reading this thread and just the tsunami of negativity when things aren't going well. You'd swear these players were out there ****ing some of y'all's wives instead of playing baseball on TV. These last 5 years or so have really spoiled Astros fans.
Yep. Baseball is fickle. There will always be things that go lucky right and things that go lucky wrong. Even when the Astros were winning 100 games, there was something for the pessimists to latch onto. This year, Astros are bad at sequencing hits along with a bad case of not hitting it where they ain't until recently (i.e., I've not noticed as many scalded balls right at defender lately except by Bregman).
It’s funny, this is a really good team, they just don’t look like one sometimes. Overall they could be scary good if a couple guys would come around, but I guess that’s just baseball.
Memo to Corey Seager….you get the sure 6-4-3. Wth were you thinking? Thanks again though Oh yeah…you cost the Arlington Rangers the game.
Or they trade for a catcher that can hit more than his weight and Meyers can make it back and hit .250/.275. Yuli coming back to the norm would help alot too. I'm thinking Yuli becoming a dad again is what has him messed up. He was hitting well until his baby was born.
I'm officially ready to see Bregman get moved down the lineup to 5 or 6, and to see Chas start everyday at CF until Meyers is ready. Siri is a late inning defensive replacement or pinch runner, at best. I'm not one of those b**** at Dusty over his lineup card everyday kind of guys, but these are a couple changes that I think need to be made.
I think Dusty never liked Chas... his actions and words when we had Straw, during spring training, and now... is just baffling.
