You called it. A 6 pitch inning. Let’s get back to the motel. They were no hit the last 6 innings. Explosive offense
Why is it such a difficult decision to move Alex down a little. Let Tucker hit 3rd. If it didn't bother Correa it shouldn't bother Alex. Team! Ugly slump but they'll get back on track. At least it's giving Click hints on what deals he hast to make.
Dubón has the same amount of RBI as Bregman's last 10 games. Think about that. Your 3rd hitter. 1 RBI for the last 10 games. Move. His. Azz. Down.
Dusty hates to put LH back to back. He explicitly answered a question on whether he was getting more comfortable on that given he has started matching Tucker and Yordan and he said no. So zero chance he goes with three LH B2B2B. He loves Brantley second and Yordan fourth, so only real options are Yuli (worse than Bregs) or Pena ... and he won't "demote" Bregman for a rookie. So this lineup is going to stay the way it is unless Click can find a top hitting RH hitter at 1B or if Meyers comes back and rakes. But the most realistic option is for Pena to stay around .800, then move him to leadoff, then Brantley, Altuve, Yordan, Tucker, Bregman, CF, Yuli, C.
This guy drives me crazy, yet there's nothing I can do about it except not pay attention. Dusty is that dog in the burning house going "This is fine."
Yeah they did over the weekend, he just gets upset and defensive about it. Gotta think he and Click don’t see eye to eye on this.
The ball was juiced in 2019, for everyone, and Breggers was at his apex mechanically. He can get back to those mechanics and return to 2018 form, but it’s hard to see right now. This years ball is really deflated. Blum’s podcast had a physicist on that does research on baseballs, it was really interesting. Her theory is that some games are selectively getting the juicier balls this year, and most games features the dead ball. She has a conspiracy theory that a few east coast teams have gotten the juicy ball more often.
