Rockets also not considering Banchero since they have their 4 spot that actually plays defense in... ...Garuba..?
Same game Chet stuffs Paolo off a dribble drive. Really Chet covered Williams more than Paolo and Chet performed really well that game too
Think we can get Banchero at 17 or still too high? Maybe Ivey, then Eason, then Banchero in the second round? Which rookie will contribute to winning the most this year and thus will win rookie of the year do you think? My money's on Johnny Davis.
Found it interesting. Grant Hill is advocating for the Magic to take Paolo. Speaking of Lebron - He was endorsing Banchero during his season at Duke. I didn’t see him talking about those other dudes. Chet endorsed himself though!
I’d re watch the entire game if I were you. I like Chet just fine but he really didn’t do anything until Paolo went to the locker room. He certainly didn’t put up 17 at the half. This isn’t me saying who will project better or even played better in college but if you can’t see who the dominant player was in that game, you really need to consider your biases
I’ve watched that game 3 times from start to finish. There was minimal moments where those two were guarding each other. When they did, Paolo won a couple and so did Chet.
Also, Banchero played 30 min in that game compared to 29 for Chet. 16/7/3 blocks on 8/13 shooting was Chet numbers 21/5/2 assists on 8/17 shooting for Paolo Paolo did get into Chet’s chest and bullied him on a play, Chet also stuffed Paolo at the rim off dribble drive.
You can go play by play with each, Chet wins against Paolo more than the opposite. Paolo smashed everyone else
It’s like you’ve never played sports before. Have you tried playing through cramps? You don’t think having to literally get an IV had any affect on him? What could possibly be the reason Banchero scored like 2 points in the second half? Unbelievable
So that must be why you think the less time a player has spent learning something their learning curve becomes exponentially faster. Because you’ve obviously experienced that. I really can’t tell if you are trolling. You are way too set in your thinking man and you never allow for the possibility something isn’t black and white. It’s weird
No doubt. I just personally think Chet and Jabari strengths translate easier than Paolo’s. I still think Paolo can be a beast
Yeah, let’s plug your perception of what I said into what I actually think. I never said exponentially faster. How you got that I have no idea. I said there’s more room for potential with less time working on it. But you do you my guy. Watch the video above. In no way at all did Paolo dominate Chet. Paolo had a better game for sure, but when head to head it was more of a draw of in favor of Chet
There have been so many studies done not only in sports but every other skilled profession imaginable. Most all skill is 99% subconscious mind and muscle memory. The human brain is more malleable at a younger age. Even still the longer you do something, the better habits and routines you develop over time as well as more easily being able to not only access but expound on what you know. If you want to argue with every leading neuroscientist be my guest. I enjoy spirited debate and I enjoy bringing statistics into my argument. Plenty of people here offer amazing ideas through the use of data and general NBA philosophy. All you ever do is definitively say a player is this or that and none of these guys have played a single game yet. The fact you don’t base these “truths” on anything at all is mystifying. I’m not the first to call you out on this.
