I am trying to understand why CBS when they do their mock draft trash the rockets but have nothing but positive things to say about everyone in the lottery and most of these teams been in the lottery for awhile now, Kings are the worse ran franchise in the NBA yet they have nothing to say.
yeah, he should’ve been the HC here…I would gladly entrust him with our rebuild when I saw the news I was like
I just dont get all the hate towards Silas. He has really only had one full season of a set team. Plus the team is still building. What exactly did you expect to happen when dealing with a Hardhead and Westbroke.
They all try to make it different than most and make people read them. BR even has it OKC swapping pick with us. 3rd/17th pick for 2nd pick WTF?
But BR is not out in the open trashing Houston, I have never seen anyone treat a lottery team like the CBS staff has treated Houston and it started when we got the 3rd pick and a former NBA coach(Alvin Gentry) was on the show talking trash about Houston Tim as a whole doesn't want any talent to go to houston, and i think this type of hate has to be from the harden days. I have never seen anyone say they don't want draft picks to go to a team out in the open that was not a fan this is the media This is a former NBA coach and he is just laughing
When we lose with a bad roster you’ll just turn on Atkinson the way you’ve turned on Silas. Silas is a young, talented, and educated black coach. Firing him would be ridiculous and messed up.
This is very debatable and I'm open minded because I don't think he's gotten a fair chance to succeed. If he has another year like last year then I want a change. What would you consider improvement? 30-35 wins? What does being a black HC have to do with anything? I don't care if the HC is green as long as he can teach the young guys to win.
It’s common to use a black head coach to tank and then kick him to the curb to give a white coach the opportunity once the roster improves - tilman is better than that. Silas thought he was coming to coach James Harden before the rug got pulled out from under him. He deserves a chance to compete when we have a better roster and aren’t tanking. This is real life - I won’t judge him till the year after next. 2023 offseason is when this team should have a much improved roster. We’ll have hella cap space and 3 years of past high lottery picks.
I am never going to forget that Silas pretty much was not running a playbook until the end of the year.
Tell me what the Hornets/T-Wolves/Sixers have done when it comes to tanking? How much improvement does the team have to show next year for you to consider Silas as having a successful year?
