Whatever.....I mean, you would expect him to say something along these lines but it's put up or shut up time for Bregman at this point. He hasn't been good since 2019. He's also been the worse of the core players imo in the playoffs the past few years.
As, I've said for a long time, it's time to fire Baker. His supporters always say "he gets the team ready play", that certainly isn't the case this year. There's no valid argument for him to still manage this team if we want to win another WS (I know we have holes but we also need a competent manager to help facilitate that)
It may be the thing to do, but it won't happen. Personally, I don't care whether we're frustrated at Dusty or frustrated by a new manager.
I know that it won't happen just voicing frustration. I've been tired of him for a while because I think we have two rings now instead of one if we don't hire dumbass. I realize that from everything reported he was part of our punishment for the cheating scandal but that tells you all you need to know about his competence as a manager. We need something new. The Angels had the balls to can Madden, we need to do the same.
