Almost hard to listen to because Bagwell has so much faith in this team and in this series, they are making him eat words that would normally be true.
The Marlins are getting run production from their hits; the Astros aren't. Stating the obvious doesn't make me feel any better.
This is good for the stros. Its going to force management's hand to make a move this team so clearly needs. They have a big lead in the division. Lapses can happen during the year. They had a bad one in 17' prior to the Verlander trade.

You see these lapses in championship teams. If you are a regular on the Astros, how much fun is the regular season right now? Once the excitement of the playoffs amps up this team comes to play. We have seen this before. Covid year, last year at times, 2019 at times. They do need another bat though if Bregman is going to be this type of player. I have more faith in Yuli who is less than a year removed from a batting title and showed up to this season in his best shape. I think he will figure it out. I am much more concerned about Bregman's lack of production.
Unless someone critical goes out for the year, I expect us to sit on our hands until after the Allstar break.
