He is entitled to have his opinion. But I would feel uncomfortable with knowing that my children's teacher thinks it would be better there were no more children.
Never anything I or anyone that I know was happy about. It's funny, at our school of almost 1000, masks are optional. Almost every single student opts to wear their masks. I had one in my class of 25 that chose not to wear their mask. It's up to them. I could care less if they don't choose to.
I would feel comfortable if my student's parents didn't misunderstand communication the way you seem to have misunderstood. I didn't say that I wish there were no more children. Children are going to be coming no matter what. I love kids. I don't think our population needs to grow, especially not irresponsibly.
