I understand your frustration, but what do you want the Dems to do TODAY. Unfortunately they don’t have the votes in the Senate to pass the things you and I and others want. It’s frustrating, but they just don’t have the votes. Manchin and Sinema are the problem.

I don’t really blame Biden or the Dems for supply chain issues, inflation, and high gas prices. These things are happening around the world to one degree or another. Dems do a poor job on messaging, but I don’t think many Americans care about what politicians say. Prices go up and people will be unhappy. By the way, I don’t think that most people are doing that badly. Prices are up, but so are wages. Unemployment is low. The lowest wage earners are the ones hurt most by inflation.

    Who the heck is they?

Do you think its up to a couple of people to get things passed?

Why do "they" need to motivate the base when the base has a clear choice?

So in your mind it's okay to not vote because somebody did not motivate you enough even when you think Republicans are a threat to democracy?

And you claim my eyes are not open, how about you take off the blinders and realize how government and elections actually work.

It's amazing you keep going on and on about "they" it illustrates my point exactly you are perfectly fine with cutting of your nose to spite your face.

The thought of Republicans gaining control of government again should be motivation enough.

And is that not the point of D&D, DEBATE and Discussion?

How many times are they gonna tell the American people they can’t do anything? Then they wonder why enthusiasm is low. If it’s not the Republicans blocking things, then it’s people within their own party. Then you’ll have party apologists like jigglylie saying it’s the voters’ fault for low enthusiasm…

Even something that’s widely popular like capping the price of insulin, they can’t pass. Voters are looking at them like “the economy is bad, prices are high, and u can’t pass anything, so what are u good for?”

and all they can say is “we’re not Trump”

    So that's the new thing?

Calling people apologists and ignoring everything else?

I guess that is what you should expect when you have so little meat on the bone, just continue to rail against "they" right?

    You Bernie Bros are hilarious?

Honestly. . . in my adult life
The campaign that most appealled to me was Ross Perot
    He was straight forward
    He was simple
    He had power point presentations

    He lost because
    1. Money
    2. Political Grift
    3. Dropping out because of an Assassination threat
    4. His VP was not exactly charismatic

    BUT
His party got infiltrated by the Right Wing parasites
corrupted and destroyed it from the inside
then went back to their home symbiotic partner the Republican Party

Like younger people are leaving the church
younger African Americans are leaving the democratic party
They not becoming republicans but they are not interested in moving heaven and earth for a party that only thinks about them at election time
and only to make empty promises and bullshit claims. All they have to offer is. . . we not the other guys (as Bernie Stated)

Progressives aren't exactly doing well in Dem primaries right now. Their "defund the police" movement has backfired spectacularly, with even San Fran recalling their progressive DA. Cicneros couldn't even beat a pro-life Dem who's home got raided by the FBI - and this was her 3rd try. LA mayor's race might end up with a moderate Republican mayor. All those people ran on progressive platforms and they can't even win in heavily-Dem areas. How well do you think that platform is going to do in the purple areas Dems need to win to expand their Senate or House maps?

Nobody is even talking about Defund the Police here or wanting that passed. This whole post is a red herring.

    Ok and?

So this does not refute my point that not voting puts those younger people in an even worse position.

So everything Biden has done was not thinking of young voters, how is voting moving heaven and earth anyway?

Do you actually think the Democrats have done nothing on the promises they made in 20/20?

And why do ignore the fact that it's 2 senators who have stopped things and ignore what 48 other democratic senators have tried to do?

How about they go out and vote more democratic senators in and not just throw in the towel?

Why would anybody be enthusiastic about this economy that Democrats have very little control about.

Why do you ignore what 48 other democrats have tried to do and penalize all democrats because of 2 senators?

Thanks for illustrating my point perfectly.

Why do you ignore all the good things Democrats have done since being put in office?

    Lol.

You ignored everything else he said and focused on Defund the police and then had the nerve to use red herring.

Why do you think Bernie is the only guy who is representing the people's interest?

How can he represent the people's interest when Republicans will be back in control of both houses since the "democrats" can't be counted on to do anything and young people are not going to vote?
