Rockets can then get a wing like Sochan or big defense like Mark Williams....
it is very clear they are focused on making the playoffs, not developing late lotto rookies. They are desperate to win. The Hornets are among our best potential trading partners.
I think the rockets should try to win but only if it can be done with the young guys. I don't want to see us blow our cap space on some overpaid role players just to eek into the playoffs. I'll reiterate that these picks we owe OKC do have protections. If our young guys don't put it together by then, it's not out of the realm of possibility that we keep 2024 and 2025 picks based on those protections. If for any reason Green and Paolo don't pan out the worst thing you can do is start building around them anyway. That's how you become the Kings.

it makes wayyy too much sense for us to trade with Charlotte so that's why it won't happen. also Charlotte won't trade their picks until draft night because any team that wants those picks will need to wait to see if their prospect is available at #13.
In that scenario i see that pick still being top 10... I think ivey has little value to them but banchero next to sabonis does. We could use either... I doubt they would pay it... steep price for one spot...
