From my experience I think the opposite, and I work with police officers all over the country nearly every day. Majority that I have met are great people. That said I’m usually meeting with higher ranked officers who got promoted for a reason.
Where you come with this one? Definitely was in my playlist circa 2005 before I was about to do some wild ****. Gotta have it chopped and screwed though...
They put me in a the back of a squad car and told me they were going **** down my neck for being a minority teenager walking through a mall parking lot and pointing at a nice car.
I empathize with you, a cop where I used go to a friend's house at gave anyone caught with drugs an option. You get an assbeating and he kept the drugs or you go to jail. I'll tell you, rather enjoyed beating the crap out of you than taking you in. He broke my friend's jaw that cornfed peckerwood... This was over a 15 years ago... He's now a lieutenant on a major city's police drug task force...
I worked with several former HPD officers that would take much delight in telling me stories of the good times they had jacking up kids for mouthing off to them. The profession attracts and hires some real assholes.
https://abc13.com/houston-crime-police-officer-shot-hpd-shooting-mcgowen/11515200/ 3 officers shot walking distance from my house. We'll go tit for tat.
Is not being a dick and it being a dangerous job mutually exclusive? Does the fact that being a police officer is somewhat dangerous(not nearly the most dangerous) and stressful, give them the right to violate people's rights and kill people without any accountability. I know some good and decent police officers but for some reason they still stick up for the cops that do shitty things for whatever reason. The bro code. Here is the thing. I think criminals should held accountable for their actions which means when the police are the criminals they should be held accountable also. Unfortunately they aren't. I also expect criminals to be criminals and expect police officers to not be criminals, so when police officer use their power and leeway to be criminals, I expect the punishment to to be tougher, not more lenient since they are part of the brotherhood. Covid kills and hurts more police officers than criminals. https://www.npr.org/2022/01/12/1072411820/law-enforcement-deaths-2021-covid
Why the **** are they all standing around him so nonchalantly if they knew he had a gun? Why is no one talking to him to try and deescalate the situation? Why are so many cops out there, just having that many cops out there raises the tension? Just so much wrong in that video concerning deescalation and safety, and I am talking about officer safety as well.
https://www.cnn.com/2022/02/01/us/charges-dropped-corrupt-chicago-cop/index.html So this cop run a protection scheme and plants evidence on people and gets them arrested. He only serves 2 years in prison for this in 2013 and they only get around to releasing some of the people now? WTF? So the criminal cop serves 2 years but the tens of innocent people he help convict have served almost a decade or more?
This is one cop. He was convicted. No egregious case like this gonna be covered up. This story isn't about police its about a criminal
https://ktla.com/news/local-news/th...rrest-speaks-out-as-officials-demand-justice/ Watch the video. The police took him to where they thought no one would see them beat the crap out of the suspect.
They just found if they say it was an accident .. . they can murder someone and get at max 2 yrs Rocket River
Hilarious, this cop and the cop facing capital murder in Houston for shooting the white couple are black.
You or I have no idea how that progressed to that point. I was expecting to see a Rodney King type beating. What's happening in this video can be justified
Holy crap that roided up, tatted up, shaved head aggro meathead is a walking stereotype of everything wrong with police in the US.
WOW! Can't wait to see what else is brought out in that investigation, you just know this was not the 1st time he has overreacted.
