How sad is it that I'm rooting for McNair to get caught in some elicit sex for hire, trafficking scheme so that he's forced to sell the team? Then again, it didn't work on Kraft...
I can see some low level security person helping Watson secure a table and an NDA but to say that it went any higher then that will be harder to prove....unless some idiot used e mail or text messages. Its plausible and if it is true the Texans should get in front of this and blame it on a over zealous employee.............man, this whole thing has taken a 180 over the past 48 hours, imagine how the Brownies are feeling right now and the comments that the ownership did there "die diligence", what a joke, every time I hear that phrase I have to and on top of that you gave him the biggest guaranteed contract ever. If I were Watson I would come out and confess, take the punishment and move on.....this is going to be a slow painful death for his career if it keeps going like this. America loves second chances, look at Vick
I think it is pretty reasonable to assume the Texans knew that Watson was a sex addict and was probably using these "massages" for more than just massages, but for them to jump to the conclusion that he was sexually harassing/assaulting these women is a stretch. If the women themselves didn't go to the team and tell them, I don't think they would have known what was going on in those rooms. The NDA isn't evidence of anything. If he was getting down to some freaking consensual sex with these "therapists", he would still have PLENTY of reason to want an NDA to be signed. My guess is they knew Watson had some freaking sex addict stuff going on. They hoped and prayed it would stay quiet. But more and more I'm impressed that they were able to get the trade haul that they did for the guy.
Bro there are other teams in the league, other sports in the world, only one life. Why waste a moment of your life being toxic against an entity designed for entertainment?
neither all the sexual assaults and all the scandal against Dan Snyder in Washington, worked against him, he still hasnt even being suspended or fined.
Like Watson said, he didn’t do anything wrong, his mom and aunties didn’t raise him that way, and he has a girlfriend…case closed, nothing to see here…
NDAs are handed out like candy. Here in Nashville, a year ago approximately my wife was considering a job change to work for Jay Cutler’s ex wife (Kristen Cavallari) as the HR director for her company called “Uncommon Jane” …she had to freaking sign a NDA during the interview ps wife had no idea she was a semi celebrity lol, said she was nice .. she was offered the job but decided to stay put
Maybe. Honestly there is no way to know if they are or are not reaching with the Texans until they see what comes out during the discovery process. He is trying to get even more money involved, but he already has a strong case with two dozen plaintiffs and circumstantial evidence. It is possible bringing in the Texans will backfire on him, but it is a calculated risk. To some extent he has been very successful so far, he has already successfully exposed DeShaun Watson as a sexual predator and bad person.... but that is on Watson.
Wasn't the claim that the Texans traded Hopkins because he was a bad influence on Watson? If that's the case, then higher up, there had to be some knowledge or concern about something bad on Watson's part. At the very least, a discovery process might shed light on that and what the Texans might have known.
I cannot imagine being a Browns fan right now. You wait 30~ years for a halfway decent team, it looks like you're finally on the doorstep of being a contender, and then... this.
