Peter Dinklage is set to star as Yoda -- it will be interesting to see Yoda portrayed with an actor instead of a puppet or CGI.
the fire will turn obi into a strong blek woman. and he'll defeat darth vader and change the whole canon
Somehow ob1 looks unscathed while roasting for a minute. Maybe his voice changed like Darth and his peepee burned away.
Not a lot happening yet and only two more episodes, at this point assume we'll see a season 2 (Jason Ward said so) and expand greatly.
So far Ewan, Leiah, Haja, and Owen have all been above average performances. There have been too many keystone cop moments like having weak ass security at the sith mausoleum, how the first jedi escaped, vader not hunting Kenobi to death, and Leiah running circles around adults. And too many unexplained moments like Jedi not being detected and that includes Leiah. The action plots and tracking are all too familiar. We need more unpredictable escapes like floating away with the trash. But some good moments too like Hayden in robe, the Storm trooper ride, Owen, the sith mausoleum, the light saver fights, the inquisitors, and of course Ewan has been all around great. Would have liked to see Obi dragged around in the fire more harshly, but still good. Some motivations of Sith are unclear, but that's always been the case. Why and what really does Reva get out of all of this. She becomes a side kick to Vader who will kill her anyway. Would like to know more about Owen.
Lots more examples of bad directing in this latest episode. Overall it was kind of boring. Even the fighting at the end never really felt like it had any stakes. But there are so many little things that would have been easy to fix. I'll spoiler it I guess. Spoiler Obiwan is running down a hallway with a wall of water directly behind him. He narrowly gets through the door as they close, sealing off a room full of sea water. Look at the ground? Completely, utterly dry. With a tiny bit of water seeping through the doors. Would have been a simply thing to just wet down the floor, but I guess no one thought of that. Obiwan is sneaking through corridors and looks up. Immediately jumps behind a section of wall and AS HIS LEGS ARE STILL HANGING OUT we see the feet of the stormtroopers that he saw, who are marching directly toward him and not 30 yards away. There would have been NO WAY they wouldn't have seen him in that straight corridor, but it's like the director figured that if the audience couldn't see them because they are behind the camera, then they don't exist yet. Stupid. This is a small thing but I always found it funny when jedi are fending off blaster shots how they would occasionally swing the lightsaber in a full arc to knock the bolt away when it has been proven that just holding the lightsaber up will deflect the bolts just fine. It would never make sense to swing the lightsaber in those cases because it just opens you up to the next bolt. The original trilogy was guilty of this too. It felt very silly when Vader enters the scene and is choking Third Sister and she says she let them go on purpose, revealing it was part of her grand plan to track them. Vader is impressed, the other Inquisitor complains and she says "The only thing that matters is Obi-wan!" Well, if the only thing that matters is Obi Wan then there would be no need to track them. You had him there. Vader somehow continues to be impressed. Heavy sigh. I'm not holding out much hope of a satisfying conclusion to this show. Only 2 episodes left and I already don't care about Leia, Tala, Third Sister, Obi Wan or anyone else except the character played by Kumail Nanjiani. He was gold and I would much rather all the main characters run off screen and have this little adventure while we just follow Kumail's character in his day-to-day fake jedi stuff. At least there were more lightsabers this episode. Lightsabers are almost ALWAYS good.
I'm not usually too hard on shows but I couldn't help but chuckle at the fact that the escape plan was essentially this....
4th episode was flames. obi getting his mojo back and blek sister lives another day. i'm sorry about what happened to wade tho. they did him dirty.
I don't understand why disney hates star wars so much. They are ****ing it all up. 7,8, and 9 are terrible at best, and now this. "The last time we met I was but the learner, now I am the Master." There is no way Vader and Obi Wan should be in the same scene together.
Man. I was WRONG. This show is way worse than any of them, LULZ. Episode 4. Obi asks the black rebel dude for help to help rescue Leia from the Empire. The black rebel guy says, **** no, I am not helping. Obi says - you don't know how bad the Empire is. The black rebel guy goes, YES I DO, WHICH is WHYYYY. I'm GONNA HELP Youuuuuu! What the ****? Lol. They must have cut a lot of dialogue or something. Because that was an atrocious back-and-forth. Instead, why not just have the guy help then? Why be like NOOOOOO. Nevermind, OKAYYYYYY (for no reason).
Black Rebel Dude = Ice Cube's son So he's getting dudes Straight Outa Compton to fight the Empire Do a drive by on landerspeeder This is for Rikey the Jedi breh @Jontro
