So.. you're OK with people who (for example) disagree with some aspect of a video game you are responsible for and marching in front of your house and family for hours on end?

This is a slippery slope...... there are elections and a number of other ways.

This is also the justification used by far right and left extremists.

What is the intent of the protest other than to influence the judge?

I'm not seeing the vagueness in this situation. It seems like a clear-cut violation of the law, whether one agrees with the law or not.

What if my protest sign read "Kavanaugh was accused of sexual harassment"?

I personally think protesting outside of someone's home should be off-limits.... but when the supreme court ruled it was OK to protest outside abortion clinics and even abortion provider's homes... they left this door open to have protests outside their own.

Being ok with it, and knowing it is going to happen are two different things. There have been plenty of cases of stuff like that when you are a public figure.....

I am not sure how I feel about protesting in front of someone's domicile - seems to be a fairly new thing, but the laws these guys are enacting are screwing up people in their homes, so they are letting them know in theirs.....

Tough call, I think it is illegal though, as Os said, right, so just enforce the laws as they are written.

Right, so you get the hypocrisy, then........the left is just fighting fire with fire now......no more going high I guess.

If someone is Hitler or Hitler like - doesn't assassination make sense?

If some people are oppressing and damaging the country .........I get where they are coming from.

I would be thrilled if someone assassinated Putin.....

Not in our society because we are supposed to have better ways of dealing with things.

Not even close to the same, they needed a lightning rod to enthral the masses.

We don't though, or they are broken, just look at January 6th, and Donald Trump......he is Hitler like.

They had a GALLOWS out for Mike Pence.....

Irrelevant. The history books would look very different without Hitler.

    Wrong.

If Trump was successful, America as we know it fundamentally changes, potentially insolvent, and our whole system of laws are undermined. There may be no framework in which Kavenaugh even has a job.

If Kavenaugh was assassinated, we morn, nominate a new judge, and America moves on.

America has survived the assassination of presidents ...so I'm sure we'd survive one out of nine judges. But America doesn't survive a successful coup.

Exactly, we have a history of assassinations.

And this is one crazy person, January 6th were thousands of deranged people motivated and supported by Trump and his cronies....that was a conspiracy - this was just one person.

@dachuda86 could not be more wrong here.
