I personally don’t think Wemby will hold up, all of the “knocks” against Chet, Wemby actually has.
He has elite size and skills, but he’s that supersized big that usually doesn’t hold up.

Sengun was also on the bench for most of the year and played limited minutes, there is no way victor is on the bench if he is drafted #1 he is starting.

Don't see him as an embiid stopper. I meant hed be 6 additional we could use on embiid or jokic. Kind of like Joe Klein and Danny schayes were against dream

    Trade 2 is realistic. Trade 1 isn't.

I criticized Evan Mobley for that reason but he held up
admirably. So I won't label either Wembanyama or Chet as injury prone.
    Not just yet.....I've seen

C Wood injured every 10 games for years.
    Skal Labissiere always injured
    Nerlens always seems injured.

But Jerami Grant and Durant and Giannis survive.

I would rather another team take a chance with Chet. His Kyphotic hump
worries me. As you know I've said before, that can be a sign of calcium
deficiency somewhere through his growth and development.

Leads to osteoporosis later on in life. I had a female patient in her 70's
washing dishes when both legs broke. Bones were like chalk. Clients
usually have to go through a bone density scan. I doubt Chet would allow
    such a thing.

Now it may not be a factor while Chet is playing for the next 10 to 15 years....
but it also may lead to fractures, ligament/tendon pulls.

I wish him luck and the team that drafts him..... especially if it's the Rockets.

Have you looked into Scoot? I may be wrong but he could be killer next to Green.

They are high usage players on bottom 5 teams and while both are productive that production not helping their teams win, bottom line.

As UDFA Nzosa would be a bargain.

Rehab and develop him with Vipers.

He and Ivisic could be dangerous combo in G League.

at 3 , I'd want paolo or smith. If chet falls to us , id like to trade back .

i prolly wouldnt trade back past 5 . ( maybe 6 if we get excellent value )

I'd like Duren. To me , that guy could be the best player in the class in 2-3 years . Reminds me of dwight.

I want to move Wood desperately , gordon too , tate less so . KMJ ambivalent . But those are guys we could definitely move depending on scenario.

would portland give up 7 for jerami grant ? does detroit do 5 and 7 for 3 ? I think theres no way detroit passes on duren at 5 . They gonna draft keegan murray or shaedon sharpe over the young 7 footer with that much athleticism ? Seriously, kid has quick second jump and great hands. He's gonna be able to finish at the NBA level. seems like a great fit with cade , or other playmakers . Would pair well with kpj/ sengun/ paolo / green / tate . We could prolly only play 2 or sengun/paolo/duren if we had all 3 ....which i dont think we will.

this draft is crazy. I dont know what we will do with 17.

so crazy scenario . smith and paolo go 1, 2 . we trade 3 and Nwaba to detroit for 5 and killian hayes. we trade killian hayes (and maybe 17 ) to was for deni advilla and 10.

we go duren at 5 and bpa at 10 ( but prolly get a very high upside player ) . could be dyson daniel , aj griffin , eason , ty ty ..

id like to trade wood before camp , but im not sure how feasible it is . I think we need to keep 17 in the above scenario and use it with wood to pick up a 1st this year and a 1st in the next draft.

    lineup

    tate/kpj
    green/JC
    advija/matthews
    eason/garuba
    sengun/duren

or hopefully, paolo / smith at 3 and then using wood and 17 to grab a top 10 , will be tough with contracts.

Huh? Most i see thibk he's worthless; which is far from it.

He's just a bad fit for us. Plunk him next to a traditional center who needs space to work and you'll see a better fit.

Victor wasn't even given prime minutes in their playoff games.

Dropped down to 13 minutes a game......probably because he was getting his
#$$ handed to him by international non NBA quality players. 4 pts and 1.8 rebs
are not good enough for me to hype the guy.

    But knock yourself out.

Right now if 4 pts and 1.8 rebs in a playoff game is the Unicorn....
then give me the d*** donkey.

Pretty much. Last season the offense was hot ass garbage with that Wood-Theis lineup. Wood trying to get his is borderline G league basketball. It took almost the whole season for Porter, Green and Sengun to have the space and time to operate. Adding a Banchero type talent, hopefully subtracting Wood from the mix at the very least we should see a sufficient offense. If they can't defend yet and we still lose 50 games, so be it. Bring in a real coach next season, a star free agent and start your run.
