I never realized Eusebio spent his entire career with the Astros, by the way. 16 years, from the minors until his last game in the big leagues.
It would be sweet for him to win it and I hope he does but: 1) he does not need to win for the team to get the draft pick 2) Pena is having a perfectly good season. I don't think the team could expect more. 3) Rodriguez was a much higher rated prospect who has crazy talent. Sometimes you just need to tip your cap and recognize greatness or potential greatness. 4) There's still lots of season left.
