They built around buzz and hype - that's the same vibe with Paolo.

 

I disagree, if Banchero was "hyped" he wouldn't make it to 3.

There's plenty of reasons to like Banchero, and reasons for concern.... just like all of the consensus top 3 picks.

I think the defensive concerns are mostly overblown, but time will tell..... and my point was those harping on Banchero's alleged defensive shortcomings didn't have a problem with Jalen Green being absolutely pathetic defensively.

They instead were focused exclusively on the good things he did on offense the last 2 months of the season.

 

Should have held out for the drafted 19 year old shooting guard that will have a consecutive scoring games not done since iverson with good defense as well as a rookie.

Sure Jalen improved from absolutely pathetic defensively to merely bad defensively towards the end of the season..... which was welcome, but building around him was deciding to build around bad defense..... something I'm sure you support.
