Me too. I am shocked he's still able to walk with how often hes been injured. He literally should be put down to spare him from any potential misery.
Reviewing prospects really has me thinking that the talk about this being a weak draft is just wrong. The sure fire star power might not be in this draft but there is some damn good talent mid to late 1st round. I think we have to seriously consider trading our vets for additional mid to late 1sts. I mean there are some mocks that have Jovic to us at #17! I think if you can trade with ATL or CLE to get #16 and #14 you could snag another potential talent. I could see both of those team needing a proven vet or two. CHA also has two picks (#13 & #15) so they might be enticed to trade one of them. Bottom line, I hope Stone is looking at picking up # 13, 14, 15, or 16 to add to #17 by moving veteran players that don't fit the timeline.
Wembayana is much better ball handler and 3P shooter. But Kareem was ridiculous in the paint. Kareem is Gobert with HOF offense imo.
Yes I mentioned, Wembanana having more range. They look similar near the same age. Look at Lew Alcindor footwork near the rim. Wembanana will have to do it against, "Grown @## Men" lol and develop a hook shot to be as consistent as Kareem Abdul Jabari.
What will happen: Wood Paolo Gordon Green Porter + lay up lines all year What I want to happen: - Jabari or Chet to fall to 3 and for us to get Williams or Eason to fall to 17 (or via trade up) - Trade Wood, his contract year is going to be brutal for us as he forces up more shots this year - Start KJ Martin regardless if we don’t trade Gordon or Tate - Please no Theis type of signing this off-season - Give the young guys some playing time for gods sake. Nix/Garuba ain’t gonna see the floor much tbh Chet Sengun KJ / 17th pick or higher via trade (Eason) Green KPJ JC / Nix / Garuba
Why do you say that? Do you think Grant has way more trade value than Wood? Wood averaged over twice as many rebounds, shot much better from 3, and averaged similar points on way better efficiency. Both are expiring, have defensive questions, and Wood is younger. If anything, most fans on this forum undervalue Wood.
He is way more than Gobert. He is actually the all time blocks leader over Hakeem. The stat was not take for the beginning of his career. If it had we would be higher than Hakeem unfortunately. Kareem was and still is a top 5 player all time.
Could talk me into just giving Christian Wood away to the Knicks or Clippers in a sign & trade to get Mitchell Robinson or Hartenstein on an inflated low years deal.
Jerami Grant is more versatile and has been a successful role player on decent teams. Wood has been either a deep bench reserve or, more recently, an empty stats on bad teams player for career. If you're looking for a complementary player, Jerami Grant fits the bill. Wood meanwhile has shown that he thinks he's 1993 David Robinson on offense and a casual participant on defense, and had the knock of being a bad attitude player. Despite his much lower contract, that's why there's a lot more teams interested in Grant than Wood. One has shown he's a good fit everywhere, the other still hasn't shown it anywhere.
Not NBA grown men.....just ask Sengun if there is a difference? Doesn't matter. Thrilla gonna dunk all over him anyway!!
