I did not read all of the comics but I did read the main one, so I have a question for people that read the comics and are watching this show. Is the show cannon and will end the way the comic did? Are they using the same storylines of the original and side comics? Are they creating storylines just for the show? Currently watching the motion comic for Watchmen and would love for that comic to get The Boys live-action treatment I think it would be great as a limited series.
I like this show, but man, I hat how gory and gross this sh*t is. I know that's a selling point. Im just saying.
It is pretty ridiculous. There's been a couple of scenes so far this season where I hid my eyes and watched through my fingers like a child. I dig it though.
Pushing that envelope. Tons of hamburger flying around. Anyone notice the Homelander Helper? Weird that I cringed more with the arm snap.
SO GLAD they let me know it was coming (and I knew it'd be on 2), that was one of the scenes I'm talking about. I've broken too many bones to watch that. Stuff like that cringes me way more than gunshots and guts. Stabbings and cuttings and torture are a close 2nd. And the giant anus.
I mean the giant butthole that looked like peepee was different cringe, but let's never talk about that agin.
S3E2&3 - Pretty good at advancing the storyline. Feels like all hell is about to break loose at any point in time. For the record, I'm Team #Homelight
