They’re elected by people who actually matter. Not like wiggins when his selection came from the fan vote which again was purely from playing for Gs.

And no the guys you mentioned aren’t role players. They’re either the best or 2nd best player on their respective teams. That’s not a role player. Terrible attempt there

It does matter. A #1 pick obviously means something. An undrafted players means something. Wood is nothing more than a empty stats loser. On a relevant team he is nothing more than a role player behind actual stars

Idk y folks r emanour by woods stat.

If he's as good as folks claim man wouldn't b leading a team to the bottom record two years running.

Man plays selfishly and isn't good enough to carry as a player who wants a max contract.

Harden gets sht on for sucking at defense but he has shown he can put up the numbers to off set his defensive effort.

Wood can't do the same and is a liability at the ft line.

Obviously by your response you've been feed something and you believe it. Like many other fans who have never picked up a basketball and don't know there is no such thing as empty stats!

Other players might effect winning more with their scoring or defense but if it's on the stat sheet.....IT EFFECTS WINNING!

Oh and the players I mentioned they are role players; Middelton is a shooter, Lavine is a scorer and Murray is a role player on a good team too.....THEY ARE ROLE PLAYERS. Neither can carry a team.

Just like the arguement of Clay Thompson being better than Harden. Thompson is a role player and Harden was a leader. Not so much in the playoffs but a leader.

No they aren’t role players. You thinking they are solidifies basically you being a casual and having no idea wtf you’re talking about. That’s why you’re out here praising a loser as if he was any good

Well, the players don't intentionally tank. They sucked all on their own last year.

So, don't get your hopes up. Unless Jalen Green or #3 becomes an all star next year, the tank continues.

    My bad.

So he's 26. 27 come game time, with an attitude problem that has absolutely nothing to do with the number of years he's been a full time starter.

This time last year I thought differently. If they do keep him around, hopefully I am wrong, but I would still be suprised if he's not dealt on draft night.

Wood is too skinny IMO, that’s the biggest problem with his D. His about 30 pounds too light imo.

Christian Wood is very similar to James Harden in that the only thing holding him back is a desperate need for a heart transplant. If he was willing to give full effort all of the time, he'd be an amazing player....but that'll never happen.

As such, I want him to have nothing to do with a team full of young players.

He has the physical gifts, he just lacks the character to use them to their full potential.

Any value we get from a wood trade is great. We picked him up off the trash heap a few years ago.

You can't conduct a conversation without getting upset?? We're just discussing basketball. Im not praising anyone, that's not my M.O I'm just telling the facts.

Wood is a good offensive player who guards the parameter well and that's why I think he would be better served as a 3/4, than as a 5.

You haven’t said any facts. You’re just trying to post bad information that’s inaccurate and irrelevant because it’s all based simply on what you believe he is.

As a 4 yes. No way he makes it as a 3 imo, his ball handling would not work against wings, pick and pops won’t work with wings.

Paolo will be better 4 than Wood easily long term and maybe by the end of his Rookie year..

You were wrong about his age and I think you are wrong about him in general. I'm not saying he's a team leader nor a top 5 player but I think if the Rockets keep him, Green, KPJ and possibly Banchero together and add another big they can be a playoff contender.

Think of the Warriors with Wiggins and Draymond. Wiggins is more catch and shoot and Draymond is the playmaker.

I see it similarly with Wood and Paolo. Paolo is a ball handler, playmaker and a better scorer than Draymond but not as good defensively, while Wood is best too when he can catch and shot, similar to Wiggins. Also, Wood is best when he guards the parameter not in the paint.

I’m high on Paolo but Draymond is a proven in a championship team let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Apart from catch and shoot 3s what else would you say is similar to Wiggins? Nothing at all for me. That’s a big reach for me.

Yeah. I agreed with you on the age. I know what the tape shows, but it's ultimately my opinion. Not shared by everyone, but by most. We will see.

I know you're an avid fan, so why you are not seeing this behooves me. But Wood is a good 3pt shooter, FACT, he guards best on the parameter, FACT and he puts up good numbers, FACT
