Like I said, never happening but the Astros "could" make the best offer.

The Angels are run like their casual fans with Marquis Names, no depth, DADDY's Unlimited Credit Card.and little else.

Um, I never trashed the team. I criticized their playoff performances. There is a difference. You tell me how great you are, then show me.

Seriously? You rarely post in here, and when you did/do, it was almost entirely negative outside of when you are defending Baker. If you are going to criticize their playoff performances (which is fair) then Baker should be first on your list. The amount of talent he's had when being unable to win a WS(as a coach) is staggering.

    Just Wondering.

When I listen on the radio, the announcers pronounce the name oLIMpus DEuz. Phonetically, I expect it to be pronounced uhLEDmiz DEuz. Being somewhat unfamiliar with latin pronunciation rules outside of menu items, can anyone explain them to me.

If it has been staggering what do you think of the

    The amount of talent?

    Wut?

So what do you think about the dodgers?

What lol? The Dodgers won a WS. Baker has never done that. Look at the teams he's managed and the talent on those rosters.

The Astros have won a world series as well and the team has been losing talent since.

I see you are not even trying to be sensible, so the fact we have played in the ALCS almost every year means diddly or that we got to the WS without our best pitcher means diddly Dusty is only judged on WS wins?

He has been managing almost a complete rebuild while keeping us contenders and you in here b****ing, LOL.

I'm not b****ing. I think we win despite Dusty and have always had the same opinion of him as a manager? Yeah, we lost talent but nobody is going to argue we don't have one of the most talented rosters in baseball and have since Baker got here.

What shows you know absolutely nothing about baseball is you laughably saying he's been managing "almost a complete rebuild while keeping us contenders". What? That's one of the most ridiculous things I've read on here.

And yes, managers are judged on championships just like players. Not sure how you were unaware of that but then again you consider the Astros "almost a complete rebuild ". I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and just assume you've been drinking

@RussE, transported this from the series thread

This is day 1 of Meyers's 20 day rehab assignment. He may need more than that, we'll see, this was not a minor injury. He's not on the 60-day IL so the Stros can just option him to AAA if he needs more time there with no corresponding 40-man roster move. It's a tough decision, whenever they feel the need to make it.

Siri is the best defender and baserunner, basically perfect for your 5th OF/PR role in the postseason. He's also the worst hitter of the 3.

Chas is very solid all-around, hits LHP well (quasi-platoon with Brantley), and is a great 4th OFer

Meyers' recovery is the wild card. At his best he's a notch below Siri defensively, and probably a more complete hitter than Chas.

I’m guessing it’s a long shot we see Pedro Leon at the major league level until September. Gosh this team is so well run. To think I thought the Angels would challenge us this season. 7.5 games up!

Meyers, at his best, is two or three levels above Chas in hitting. Meyers is one of the better center fielders in baseball if he returns at the same level he was playing last year.
Siri is, in my opinion, the best defensive center fielder in baseball.
Its A good problem to have, but Chas is the odd man out.
