The best at creating their own 3P.

KPJ is 2nd to Trae and better than Dejounte and Reggie.

And KPJ is also the most improved over 3 seasons.

KPJ elite at C&S 3P and self generated 3P.

KPJ right in the middle as passer.

Not bad for only his 2nd season at PG.

Efficiency is better than Rubio, just needs to drive more often.

    He's so horrible amirite? :rolleyes:o_O

Better than Herro and very close to Cade.

This is why Stone is so committed to KPJ and other Harden like players (Jaygup).

If all this work pays off and KPJ becomes a top 15 PG next season, it's going to be victor or bust.

This absolutely could be the case, and why this BPA at all costs thing needs to be slightly more nuanced -when you have two developmental players already on the roster with just as high or higher upsides at that same position. And I’m not even talking about Christopher who really impressed me as well last year. I don’t like the Ivey talk, but I’m down to help perpetrate a helpful smokescreen ;)

If we're going to discuss KPJr's Catch-and-Shoot numbers then let's talk about:

    KPJr on one wing
    AJG on the other wing

    Sengun setting the pick
Jalen up top rolling downhill ......

Cap room to sign a max free agent this summer...(Wood/EGo/Tate traded into cap space of Sac or Portland or another team)

An extra pick in the 2023 draft and other future assets
Orlando Robinson or Kenny Lofton, Jr. in the second round...

That's two wings who are good defenders both shooting close to 50% on Catch-and-shoot 3's. KPJr very capable of beating the second or third best defender on the defense to the rim if overplayed. AJG very capable of handling the third best defender on the defense if he is closed out hard.

People wanted to give up on a 20-21 year old......with immense talent, that even LEBRON went out of his way to talk to him about harnessing that talent.

All because he got upset - and needs to learn to control his emotions, hell 50 years ago, that would not even have been reported.....KPJ is maturing and he is UBER talented.

We got him for NOTHING, this is Stone's biggest get so far.....with Green coming in a close 2nd.

Shower thought: Have KPJ come off the bench as 6th man at his natural position SG -- draft Ivey and hold on to Wood unless we receive a great offer.

Please feel free to tear this post apart.
