Dude for real? Banchero did not get nearly the easy putbacks and dunks that Holmgren had, are you really using that at the rim percentage without any context? Banchero shot many more contested shots at the rim than Holmgren and still completed them at over 70% which is actually better than I expected. I see we are now at the point where you will start throwing out random stats that don't really show anything.

Who knows? I think Jalen is going to be better Batman than Paolo but I won't be shocked if it goes the other way. I am more concerned with Jalen's ability to create for others than I am his ability to defend well. For Paolo it is the opposite. I always buy-in to the concept of having to be able to create for others at a high level to truly be a superstar. IE Beal is a star but not superstar. Just personal philosophy of course.
None of this has any bearing on what I said and thanks for showing that you can build great defense along with having 2 guys who can get buckets. Whe can get a Smart type later in the draft or in future drafts. How long did Boston suck before they got Tatum and Brown when they had only Smart?

You have not proven anything thing wrong. Banchero is a plus defensively according to most metrics/ advanced yet you keep harping on his defense and ignoring different stats? And then come here using at the rim statistics when both guys do different things at the rim and then you like a guy Smith who has terrible at the rim stats and is highly inefficient over Banchero at least be consistent with how you judge players.
