I saw someone on the news talking about Abbott and his "this is a mental health crisis" issue. They said it's ironic that he spouts that when Texas ranked last among all 50 states in overall access to mental health care and Abbott slashed $211 million from the department that oversees mental health programs. Keep talking, though, Abbott. Blah blah blah.

Mental health is a huge problem and it's fine to talk about mental health and guns in parallel. But this idiot and his compatriots have completely released all common sense on guns while cutting mental health care spending (by all reports I can find anyway). That's a recipe for exactly El Paso, Uvalde and more events to come. What a moran. What's the point of having power if you just make people miserable in general. Shaky power grid, more bickering, more COVID death, more gun death, less healthcare. He needs to find something else to **** up b/c I'm sure he could be more comprehensive. Last time I was in Texas, you still had wildflowers and a lot of really good food. Maybe he could find a way to **** those up too. LOL.

The same gun rights people crying about mental health are the same people crying that schools dare to teach SEL in school. Do you know the area SEL addresses? Mental Health. They are the same ones voting for politicians that cut funding and resources for mental health.
