you mean like scoring 33 pts in the second half to close out rockets in game 6 in 2019? or 37 points in game 7 of 2016 WCF against thunder? or 47 points in game 3 of 2019 FINALS against raptors without klay or durant in that game? oh and heres this: Warriors WCF Comeback Ws: ’15: G1, Down 16 ’16: G7, Down 13 ’17: G1, Down 25 ’18: G6, Down 17 ’18: G7, Down 15 ’19: G2, Down 17 ’19: G3, Down 17 ’19: G4, Down 17 ’22: G2, Down 19 Stephen Curry averages 34/7/7 shooting 50% FG and 44% 3PT in these games. So I guess none of these games are considered clutch?
Warriors WCF Comeback Ws: ’15: G1, Down 16 ’16: G7, Down 13 ’17: G1, Down 25 ’18: G6, Down 17 ’18: G7, Down 15 ’19: G2, Down 17 ’19: G3, Down 17 ’19: G4, Down 17 ’22: G2, Down 19 Stephen Curry averages 34/7/7 shooting 50% FG and 44% 3PT in these games. yeah thats a front runner sure
you are discouting the referee aspect, andrew bogut has been blackballed from the warriors ring of honor because of his comments earlier this year. Everything bogut said matches the eye-test those runs where they explode in 3rd quarters are because refs intentionally swallow their whistle and allow the warriors to be physical and their opponents get hosed with touch fouls. it happened in the memphis series and it happened again in the first half of game 5 that 47 point curry againist the raptors they lost that game on their homecourt by 20 points. They begged kd to come back and he ended up tearing his achilles Warriors WCF Comeback Ws: ’15: G1, Down 16 ( refs) ’16: G7, Down 13 ( didnt watch the game) ’17: G1, Down 25 ( injured kawhi) ’18: G6, Down 17( refs sabotaged the game) ’18: G7, Down 15( refs sabotaged the game) ’19: G2, Down 17 ( dont know which series you are talking about but i do know in the 2019 playoffs the warriors blew a 33 point lead to the clippers in the 1st round another choke.. was bailed out by kd in the next game with 50) ’19: G3, Down 17 ( not sure which series you are talking about) ’19: G4, Down 17 ( not sure white series you are talking about) ’22: G2, Down 19 ( refs)
another thing those comebacks really mean nothing when you know the refs were a big part of them. ask andrew bogut and he'll tell you lol
We all know that history ignores bad officiating for championship teams. Look at the Lakers. Look at Wade's Heat.
i agree with those teams as well, especially the early 2000 lakers.. the 2000 blazers got hosed.. the lakers were legit in 2001 tho. 2002 kings got hosed 2010 nba finals was rigged as well then you have the 2006 finals with wade who broke jerry west finals series record for free-throw attempts in just 6 games. The mavs could not breathe on him those teams dont afftect me personally, i have problems with the warriors in particular because rockets fans deserved a finals appearance and it was taken away from us by corruption. It was so bad nba players were calling out the biased officiating as the game was going on, i think jeremy lin and demarcus cousins called it out, plus corey brewer the nba could be a great sport if the officiating wasnt shitty and corrupt. This is why the mlb and the nhl are better than the nba. Those other sports have intergrity, when deflategate and spygate happened in the nfl it was meant swiftly with severe punishment, when the sign stealing saga happened in the mlb guys lost jobs and suspensions and draft picks were taken away. How many years was dick bavetta, joey crawford, and even still today scott foster a ref when these guys are known hitmen for big playoff games its why rebuilding in the nba doesnt mean as much as compared to the other sports leagues. Because the ref element is still there in the playoffs, and when you dont win the title, then everything was for nothing. their is no such thing as playoff experience, if their was chris paul would have ring by now. James harden would have made a finals.
Did Scott Foster officiate yesterday’s game? That guy usually accounts for a 15 to 20 point swing for the Warriors.
If anything, I felt like the officiating favored Dallas last night, but it couldn't overcome Looney's rebounding and Klay's shooting. Plus, GSW seemed to come up with all the loose balls.
is that true? i've never considered wade's 2006 title as anything other then a rigged series and not even remotely legit, but i guess for casual clueless people you're probably right (though their opinions are meaningless)
The officiating wasn't really a factor yesterday. GS clearly came out with purpose to end it and Dallas wasn't able to respond. Luka struggled pretty much all night as well as most of the others. GS was just the significantly better team in this series and it clearly showed.
He did better than Harden and did come back with an effort that had the lead down to single digits. Harden would have given up completely after a disastrous first half. Both got screwed by the fixed officiating against the Warriors which is hard to overcome. Give the Warriors credit but they have some swallowed whistles button they can press during pivotal moments.
Yes it's true. When commentators/athletes talk about Wade's titles or Kobe's titles nowadays, how often are "asterisks" brought up? If their opinions are meaningless, and their voices reach millions of fans, then whose opinions have meaning?
Why are we talking about that loser Harden anyways? He would’ve been 2nd round fodder if not a 1st round exit with Luka’s squad. There’s no way a front runner like him would’ve come back after being down 0-2 to the Suns.
i guess i just don't care about those opinions since they're coming from a place of ignorance and not reality, same as people's opinions about the astros
If you're looking for asterisks, you'll find asterisks, and then everyone's opinions will be coming from a place of ignorance. That's the problem with your perspective.
I think it was rigged, but I'm aware that his resume has 3 rings, and nothing I say will ever change that. And I certainly don't think that anyone who cites his 3 rings is "ignorant" or "casual".
i believe the context of it being rigged is important, and calling him a 3 time champ and giving him credit for that ring where he was the lead guy is being dishonest. I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything
