Absolutely… didn’t he only get locked up for like 5 years and now tells everyone how sorry he is? He got out reasonably unharmed and he actually is the one that falsified the numbers.

The 100 mil was a discount. It bought out his arbitration years early for a couple of FA years.

He's been underperforming overall, but this is a nonsensical post.

I'll counter with Bregman's 27 career bWAR and .878 career OPS...compared to Hedges 0.6 career bWAR and .591 career OPS. (For reference, Maldy's career OPS is .631)

Are we seriously comparing Breggers to Austin ****ing Hedges?

We are discussing what's player analysis skills and his inability to understand that Bregman has never played in a contract year.

I tuned in for ONE batter and Ramirez Homers. I turned off the game. Glad the Astros overcame the tremendous deficit.

Who's he? I know Alex BREGMAN, but not Bergman. Thought it might be a typo, but Bregman hasn't had a contract year yet.

Now they are Gourdians. I think Squash or Zucchini would have been better.

Useful if properly dries as scoops and utility utensils. And no self respecting GOURD will get upset.

So, in the last few years, the Astros have let Cole, Morton, Kuechel, Springer and Correa walk (amongst others), and you seem to think that you are going out on a limb by saying that they let Bregman walk. Maybe they can use that extra money to sign Austin Hedges.

The only people I know from Enron were financially devastated and unemployable from the association. I hate hearing the crooks got away with it.

Altuve has changed his approach a bit and I am seeing some signs of that guy who hit 300 plus with some pops. If you can get him back to where he was, this team is going to be dangerous. I just have to assume that the team as a whole is going to hit very well post all star break.

I believe the Stros are something like 20-7 when he's in the lineup

He is going to have hot and cold stretches like he always has had.... how good he does will depend on how many and how long the hot stretches last.

He has only had 114 at bats and has a .950 OPS, 9 homers and a career high slugging percentage approaching .600 ...... and is on pace for a 6 WAR season with missing games.

I really liked him as the color guy last night, it sounded like he was auditioning.

He seemed different from being a guest with the regular guys.

I don't think Blum is going anywhere. Baggy fills in for a handful of games every year. He's fun to listen too, but I remember he filled in last year right during/after that 11 game winning streak, and it felt like he was jinx city. Talking up the hitters left and right as they got mowed down by Detroit.
