Even though Chet/Jabari really can fit any teams: Magic, Thunder or Rockets, Magic can really use Paolo, because their offense is lacking. They don't have that ball dominant, bucket getter. Suggs was injury prone this year and didn't make the 2nd Rookie team. They struck out last year. OKC has Giddy/SGA as ball handlers. HOU has KPJ/Green/Sengun/Wood. Can even count Tate (in a pinch). Even if KPJ/Wood gets swapped away, there's still overlap. Plus we need a defensive boost from a Jabari/Chet in the worst way. The usual Rockets Org answer is well... with smart players and coaches, they can figure it out. It's still a cop-out answer. Yes it's possible for some player to sacrifice part of their games, but that means the team is not maximizing them. Magic's defense (at least with their starting unit) is actually decent. They can absorb/mask some of Paolo's mediocre defense. Magic is really a perfect destination for Banchero. They should pick Paolo, and leave us a Chet or Jabari. 3&D players don't grow on trees, every team wants them. The good ones you pay a premium for (sorry Garrison). If you can get it in a Jabri/Chet, you do it.
This actually makes sense especially because Magic do not have that true franchise #1 offensive option. SG - Cole/Fultz/Suggs SF - Wagner PF - Isaac C - Bamba (re-signed)/Carter/Bol Bol PG - Banchero I hope Magic can imagine the possibilities and ignore their previous 2 way player draft profile.
I haven't seen a lot of college ball but has Paolo actually gotten smoked by anybody consistently? I know he falls asleep on help defense but does he typically stay in front of his guy?
Also it is hard to ask rookie players to do this because they have not gotten paid yet. Stars forming "super teams" will make that choice sometimes, because they already have the money and the individual awards.

Just a guess but I think it will be Jabari, Chet then Paolo. Even bigger gueses then Keegan and Ivey.
Wouldn't be shocked at all if OKC takes Paolo over Chet. They can easily taken Duren or Williams at 12 Williams Banchero Dort SGA Giddey solid lineup
Did you guys see the HS tape where Banchero scored on Jabari and clamped him up easily Where is the no defense narrative coming from?
That Orlando breakdown is legit. Watching him defend in space and how quick his hips flip and feet shuffle is ridiculous. I really hope Jabari and Paolo go 1/2
