You are wording the idea wrong, or you don't understand the qoute. (Winshares*players) does not *literally* equal the total amount of wins that team gets. If that was the case, it would be a useless statistic. It's a good statistic because the formula for win shares allows you to come close to what you would expect the win total for a team to be. It's a proxy, intentionally, not a mathematical truth.
Lol but what you just said and what I just said are not equivalent at all. Now wonder you're co fusing everyone.
stupid how he retracted and back peddled. True sign of a weak and spineless person. He was wrong in saying that but at least either acknowledge ur wrong and apologize or stick with your wrong ways. But to back peddle? Not respectable.
In Hakeem's rookie season the top 5 picks made the all rookie team. Hakeem Bowie Jordan Perkins Barkley
As far as Bill Simmons, I do legitimately understand what he was trying to say ... that I'm going to place a value on team wins and contributions to winning (even if the point is kind of ridiculous for rookies). But putting that aside, it was such a dumb thing to say. "F--- (any player)" is an embarrassing thing to say and an awful look. Furthermore, it shows how stupid it is that he has a vote. That should NOT be the case. I'm glad Jalen made the All-Rookie Team. Pelicans and Thunder fans were in shambles, but it was much deserved.
Sengun has a surprisingly low amount of votes, but then again this rookie class is particularly talented
