One thing I think with Paolo is... Imagine the offense with Green, Sengun, Paolo? A coach has to dream of running plays with those guys. All can score, one guy is a point center, the other guy is a growing playmaker at guard spot, and Paolo is a very good passer. That offense could be downright terrifying if all those guys reached even 70% of their potential. I agree, you roll with it, put some dogs around them and go for 130 a night.
I'd give him a 6-7. Same athleticism score as Jabari and Chet. Sharpe, Ivey are 8-9. Edge to Ivey. But combine should put all the guesswork to bed, especially if he has max vert of 36+.

I've said for the longest that as long as we end up top three I'd be ecstatic...and I am... And now I'm really warming up to the idea of Banchero being a Rocket if he makes it to three... He has all the tools to be an elite player. The handle, the playmaking and ability to make things happen off the dribble... He really has two major areas he needs to focus on--Shooting and Defensive intensity/consistency. Those are two things that shouldn't be that hard to improve on. But his passing and playmaking are two things that are very valuable because those skills aren't as easily developed. His scouting report kind of reminds me of Harden when he came out minus the disappearing in big games part.
Yeah, I think people here are underplaynig how likely OKC/ORL takes Paolo. Also, we have no idea how workouts or meetings will go. Some of these guys might not want to go to OKC if they knew falling would put them in a better position (Ala Mobley last year) or in a place they'd simply rather be. If Jabari has some fetish for playing with Green for example then he might not show up to a workout or just give off signs he doesn't want to go to OKC and they'd be forced to pick Paolo. Honestly, picking 3rd means less drama around here, we're going to pick whoever falls to us barring one of the two teams ahead of us doing something random.
