I really think Orlando needs more backcourt help than front. That makes the #1 pick extremely interesting. If Ivey has a good workout, I could definitely see them being swayed.
Instead of looking at who the Rockets should take, we should look at players Orlando and OKC might not take. Orlando is for sure taking a big, since their backcourt is Suggs, Anthony and Fultz. Don't think they'd give up on Fultz so quick, so I don't think they're taking a guard. Tough to say, with OKC. But I think with Giddey and SGA, they're not going to take a guard either. The quality of their bigs is also so much worse than the quality of their guards. I think OKC also takes a big. In the end, I think it'll still come down to 2 of the 3 bigs gone, before the Rockets pick @ 3...unless of course, the Magic and/or OKC trade down.
Don't think they have a choice here it will be banchero Sharpe is a 2 guard just like green Ivey is a combo is guard
Paulo Banchero is the pick but if Chet or Jabari fall fine by me. I do think that Paulo is the most NBA ready out of the gate, and his size and strength would allow us to go. 6'10 Wood 6'10 Paulo 6'9 Sengun 6'6 KPJ 6'6 Green I mean we went from the all OOMPA LOOMPA team to a very tall and big team.....that still plays the SMALL BALL style. DD
I do like his playmaking. If he can play effectively as a SF in the NBA, I would welcome it. I'm not sure if he can do that though on defense.
One of those teams might like the safe floor of Banchero. Workouts and interviews could change things and each team may put more emphasis on different aspects of the player/person. I'm just glad that we got top three. I have a feeling I will be happy with whoever we take at that spot.
I thought he looked like Ja Morant; but you're right. Mavs don't win a championship without the Rocket-legend, "Brew-man"
I wont be surprised if he goes up on the draft board, and gets drafted number 1. He can ball. Orlando needs a guy like him to be honest.
I'd consider this, except expand it to the #6-10 range. Feels like a lot of things are on the table with this draft.
I saw enough of paolo at Duke to see that he has no chance of being a SF in the NBA He's a 4 or 5 man
Paolo if Chet and Jabari are gone and I think Paolo has some bust potential.... Still, BPA and I imagine him and Green and Sengun could have a hell of an offense in 2-3 years...which it's going to need to be superpowered...and this is not even counting KPJ. Could be exciting offensively... If our core will be these guys we need to fill the rest of the team with pure dogs. The dirtiest and nastiest Smart, Draymond, Bev type of players.
I’m changing my mind from Banchero …. I’d give my left you know what for Jabari Smith . Voted other !
