Just because you keep saying that will not make it true. And most college guys are not as efficient as they will be in the pros because of spacing and playing with better players. No we do not know that he is low effort and an inconsistent defender, didn't he have a higher DPRM or whatever that defensive stat is than Holmgren? You sure like to pick and choose your stats.
Holmgren Smith Sharpe Ivey Banchero Murray Griffin (concerns about his athleticism not being what it was before injuries)
Liddell will not be a lottery pick. As you can see in link below, his defensive metrics (outside of blocks) are nowhere near the best in this group of players - especially advanced stats (DRTG, DWS/40, DBPM). https://www.tankathon.com/players/c...niels--tari-eason--e-j-liddell--jeremy-sochan And he plays more like a 6'7 center who does not rebound very well.
Imagine going out of your way to trash a guy who has a usage rate 6% points higher than your preference, but still have the nerve to hype a guy's "efficiency" metrics when he put up 8 shots per game!! Its mentally unstable hour on Clutch Fans! Cue the "Chet is a better defender" low hanging fruit arguments!
Click on link I shared with you above - PICK ANY STAT. Again, due your own due diligence. I'm practically spoon feeding you the information right now but you keep saying give me more more more more but complain about the taste.
It would have to knock him down I’d think. If scouts are pigeon holing him into a 4 only, it limits perceived value. Scouts could be wrong, but it makes sense with his handle and drive game
Yeah, he is going to have take that out of his game and be more assertive once he catches the ball. Yeah it's terrible in the NBA, it stops the ball and takes away any energy from the offense and lets other guys gang up on him, makes him much easier to guard. This
Usage % is not efficiency. Efficiency is not about quantity of shots taken, it's about quality of shots made. And mid-rangers are not quality shots fyi. Jeezus man, do some research before talking to me. And facts are not low hanging fruit genius, it's just facts. Chet is MUCH BETTER DEFENSIVELY than Banchero. FACT
It is in flux, spots 2-5 are all very close. At the end of the day, I have Sharpe over Banchero because Sharpe can play multiple positions, is very young and has a strong jumper. Banchero has a lot of skills/traits that star players have but Sharpe has just about all of the physical skills/attributes that a star player has. The issue with Sharpe is that he can be lackidasical and that he doesn't have a lot of experience..... the draft order/trades are going to have a really big impact on where the top guys go.......... these guys (top 5) are all very very close..... I personally have Holmgren a quarter grade above Smith and Banchero and Sharpe, and that is basically nothing.........
Once again why do you think these stats mean anything? You are feeding me **** that's why I am complaining and then you pick and choose the **** you want to feed me because you have a favorite. I mean tell us again, how much more efficient the guy who shoots mostly 3's and put backs is more efficient than the guy who scores at all 3 levels is asked to run the offense and is the go-to scorer.
KG did it a whole bunch. If it gets them in rhythm Im not averse to it. That twitter user used some artistic license in delivering that message because Paolo doesnt do it on EVERY possession - just alot of them!
If you dont understand or appreciate any basketball stats then this discussion is pointless. It's obvious that simple efficiency data escapes you.
Just because you keep saying this, doesn’t make it true. You’ve been proven wrong time and time again about this.
Also I will tell you I am a little bit against the common belief..... some scouts have had Sharpe sliding a couple picks. I have tried to find out why, and I cannot get a solid answer, it may be cold feet because he hasn't played much basketball.
Dude he said create his own shot, and it's crazy that you are trying to knock Mobley when Chet showed even less consistent shot creating in college in the half court.
