Your problem is with adding two numbers together? Would it have changed anything to say Asian 45.4% and White (non-Hispanic) 34.5%. The content is the same. I wasn't obfuscating anything, I provided the link to the page with the breakdown. You have done nothing to disprove any of what I have said, you have just failed, repeatedly, to prove that racial diversity leads to lower crime.

You quoted my post with a link to the information you are saying I was trying to hide. I added the total percentage of white and Asian, but in the link it was broken down (and had additional historical population statistics). I don't think you understand what intellectual dishonesty is.

People don't hide information by linking to it directly. Of the four major population groups, white and Asian have low crime rates. Hispanic have moderate to high crime rates. Black have high crime rates. They were combined for a reason, and in a way that was entirely appropriate to the point being made. There was a link provided to the source of the data which had the separate categories you are pretending I was trying to obfuscate (as well as even more historical population data). Repeating this same thing over and over again is not going to make you right or me wrong, no matter how many times you say it. Your point was wrong - diversity increasing in a city doesn't lead to lower crime. My rebuttal was correct - cities with more white and Asian people tend to have lower crime rates than cities with larger Hispanic and especially black populations. There are many all white or nearly so cities with very low crime rates, same with Asian, so homogeneity itself is not correlated with high crime. I'm sorry you cannot handle these very simple but true observations. At least you can take comfort in your one study that on a very small neighborhood level, diversity can lead to less crime.

 

Weird argument. Companies running Diversity programs don't really care hiring more Asian or White males lol. Outside of tech and in things like finance or ops, even white women aren't in their quota-not-quota uhh diversity metrics they try to push.

Irvine is as diverse as pod people arguing about which Tesla or luxury SUV to get.

I never denied combining them in one group (though not one racial group, one group of people whose race/ethnicity tends to lower crime rates). I also provided a link with the more granular information. This is not the gotcha you think it is. The fact that you cannot counter any of my arguments and keep repeating this as though it has some sort of meaning or merit is proof of your desperation. It is okay to just say you were wrong and that increasing diversity is not strongly correlated with decreasing crime rates.
