May I suggest to not take it personally. Those rings aren’t tainted. Those boys went out and beat MLB top dogs (which cheated in their ways as well). They are mad because we beat them. Sucks we haven’t been able to win it again though. But every time a Dodgers fan bring it up. I say, we beat them on their home field in Game 7 and they get quiet….
I do take it personally. Been watching this team since 1980 and dying for a WS championship the whole time. When we finally get one, its tainted. When we get another one, that one won't be tainted. Where was Correa last year in the WS. We really could’ve used him. Saying stupid **** like “the astros have made it clear that they don’t believe in big, long contracts. Well I want a big long contract”. Then proceeds to not hit his weight in the WS and then goes and signs basically a 1 year deal. Arrogant. But you are right. I really shouldn’t take it personally. It doesn’t keep me awake. Just annoys the hell out of me

I don’t know what to tell you, been watching since 1984. Somebody is always going to try to discredit a Houston Championship because our city isn’t a media darling. Plus I witness what that championship run did for our city lifting everyone spirits after being crushed by Harvey. I am not letting a Yankee fan or Dodgers fan take that away. Nope! The sooner you accept that those Championships are legit, better off you feel. Otherwise you may find yourself chasing that feeling for a lifetime again.
Championships? I don’t recall saying that the Rockets titles are tainted. I don’t feel that way. The Astros title is absolutely tainted.
My youth was mom dropping us at Astroworld at 10AM many times a week, from Kemah, hanging there. Getting cheap seats to the Stros after, and sneaking down. Mom met us in Fannin at 10. No excuses. It been a fabric of my life. We have as good a chance this year as the last 4. Just enjoying the ride in upstate New York these days.

With the bats waking up and the pitching continuing to be excellent, you get the Astros team we all have been waiting for. Glad they have arrived (for now).
Funny, I was just looking up the Astros 2015 draft picks with Tucker and Bregman and found that we drafted Cole Sands in the 22nd round. Then looked up and saw Cole Sands pitching against the Stros. Weird timing! Who had that on trivia night?
