The show really slighted Silk. They don't win Game 6 without him going for 37 points/10 rebounds and playing 42 minutes. Made it look like Norm and Cooper were the major ones helping out Magic. Maybe Cooper, but Norm had 4 points for the game. Wilkes should of had some screen time. On the other hand, maybe he's not that good of an actor and probably can't duplicate that shooting form.

 

When do they add Worthy is that next season?

I didn't like this series at first, but once I understood that it wasn't supposed to be a documentary, I started really enjoying it.

The last 3 episodes were really great. I kept waiting for Pat Riley to turn into Pat Riley, though., I guess that's coming later.

My biggest criticism is the West character. What was the point of featuring him if all he was going to do was act like a psychopath who just says **** every other word. That got really old and really predictable really fast.

Seems like they were really setting up the Bird vs. Magic rivalry for next season. Really looking forward to that. The guy who plays Bird is SPOT ON.

As much as a Rockets fan as I am....those Laker/Celtic Finals series back in the 80's were some of the most compelling sports events EVER. I used to look forward to them every year. Except 81 and 86...

 

I haven't seen this yet, but I want to. Have the 86 Rockets made an appearance yet?

 

Nope, the 1st season only covered the 1980 season.

They did play the Rockets once in the show and they show a quick shot of Calvin Murphy and they actually showed Rick Barry shooting a granny-shot free throw.

 

They also show a photo of Riley in a Rockets jersey.

 

Amazing show. Can't wait for S2.
