You know how they say there’s always two sides? Well since it sounds like you have no clue and your assumption is off let me fill you in. When you get called a Gook, YOF, Lin only fan, small dick, low IQ, r****d, insinuated that Harden ****ed your girl or mom and other derogatory BS and personal attacks let me know. Imagine being called all those things for simply posting Harden’s stats, mentioning/criticizing his shortcomings and not worshipping him like a god.
It goes both ways, you can either hate a player or absolutely love a player.... Both are emotional investments towards a millionaire who does not know the person even exists.... Does Harden care for @DatRocketFan more than he cares about someone who hates him? Maybe for a second or two, both are insignificant to him in the grand schemes of things... Fandom is for the people, sides are for the people....Not because they bring us closer to the teams or players on a personal lvl but because it allows us to form opinions, create emotional attachments to characters and disdain for the ones some of us percieve as villains.... Its fun watching top athletes compete, its impossible to watch without a preference in who wins. Its not sad that people have emtional attachments for the team/player they love or hate.... Obsessing is bad for anything.... I dont think anyone on this board is obsessing over Harden on either side.... Hardenvolumeone was the only poster here who I felt was obssesive....
Yup, most of the Harden super fans were quick to be offensive and constantly try to put anyone with a different opinion down... HP3 will even go as far as to bring in politics and vaccine status to further inflate his self entitlement as if a politcal preference or health status lowers the value or opinion of someone he does not agree with. Now they all acting like victims...
The one that been saying those racist stuff got banned. don't try to group everyone that calls out asiansensation sht take racist.
I'm not coping I'm just responding to that other poster who said rooting for lotto teams is not fun and he enjoyed watching playoff Rockets more. I'm just pointing out the Rox playoff teams also lose in the end and they lose in the first round most of the time. To me there's no difference between a tanking team and a playoff appearance team. The only diff is between contenders and non contenders? If you dont have a real shot at winning a ring you are better off tanking so you are better set up for the future seasons.
Please don't compare Hakeem and Harden. Not fair, One is a champ and an all-time great and the other is Harden.
are you saying a real contender wouldnt have even a better chance of winning it all if they tank and draft chet/jabbari/banchero and victor wembayana 2 years in a row? chances are good they become dynasty.... its far better then a fleeting chance of winning it once... anybody is always better off tanking... imagine the core of victor, chet PLUS a contender roster! TDFD!
Still think he is or was a great talent. Disliked his playing style. Personally do not care if he wins one or not. Good luck. I also found myself involved in Harden threads either discussing him or just brushing him off, my bad.
Hakeem is the only Franchise player the Rockets has ever had, if you use the win a ring criteria. There hasn’t been a Rockets championship roster without Dream on it. All other Rockets rosters are a bunch of losers. ( By the win a ring criteria)
