I’ll say this….I like Paolo’s confidence; he carries himself like a winner and is intelligent and mature for a 19 yr old. I just get a feeling that he’s gonna be one of these guys that continues improving and working till he gets to All Star level. Despite his lack of defense I wouldn’t have any qualms about drafting that guy. He has among the highest floors in the draft IMHO.
Rockets should pay special attention to the only 3 players in top 5 of both DBPM and OBPM. Chet Holmgren Tari Eason Mark Williams Been beating the drum on these 3 players for a reason. Super efficient and ultra productive 2 way players with unique size and/or athleticism.
Like I said, lazy reporting. I feel for him because he looked like an idiot but more annoyed Paolo was disrespected...if you don't know someone always err on the side of not shouting out the wrong name. Most of us would get fired for screwing up the most basic functions of our job so blatantly.
...and there's a chance of landing 2 of them. that being said I think guys like Jabari, Daniels, and Sochan have the potential to be as good or better, although they were not as good this year. Its possible the extra year or two of age/experience helped the first 3 stand out a bit more this year.
I agree and like the upside of Daniels and especially Sochan as well. But Eason is already better than both defensively and his 3P% and efficient offense will translate to NBA much sooner and smoother. Eason is the 2nd best defensive player in this draft, after Chet.
Do you think Williams makes it to 17? Theoretically Adding Chet and Williams would provide at least one rim protector on the court 48 minutes per game next season. We will soon see how much the Org values defense.

I really like Eason as I said. I agree he's better than the rest right now, but freeze him in time and give Sochan and Daniels another 2 years of development to control for their age differences, I'm not sure who's better.

No. I don't see Williams making it to 17. Could see him going anywhere 9-16 depending upon how the lottery shakes out next week. We really need to see the draft order. I can't wait .... I'd love to add two of Chet / Murray / Williams / Eason. We've got plenty of trade parts to make it happen.
