Im going to assume we get #1,#2 or #3. Then trade #17, Bucks pick (unprotected),Brooklyn 2024 pick(unprotected) Tate,Wood,Gordon (to third or fourth teams?) and to get back into the top 3. The goal being to come away with Jabari and Chet. Sengun/Garuba Chet/Jabari Jabari/KMJ Green/Christopher KPJ The beginnings of a promising team. That is an 8 man core to reall take a look at. 2023 still available to us as well as Nets assets.
Gordon, Wood, Nwaba, Tate, #17 to the Lakers. Russell Westbrook, unprotected 2026 1st, unprotected 2027 1st rd pick swap to the Rockets. Lakers sale their soul to retool and make another title run in the next few years. They get solid role players and much needed depth as well as a mid 1st in which they could keep or trade for another contributor. Houston adds another horrendous balloon contract and player that likely won't step on the court for us, but they gain what would be amazing lottery tickets. It also adds additional cap space for 23s FA summer where they project to be big spenders and clears space and playing time for the younger players.
Same though but different combination Wood, Tate & #17 For Kelly Oubre & Kia Jones #13 Opens room for the rookies and Jones spent last year in the G-League already. Hornets are getting better now players that fit their team while we concentrate on the future.
Yes. I'm hoping he is shooting a 1000 three's a day this off season and can start producing 22/23 season. As you may remember, I was pushing for the Rockets to draft one of Kai Jones or Garuba with the Josh Christopher pick. Not so much for instant success....but to start year one of their development as an NBA big and become a factor there after. Injuries for Garuba have stalled that somewhat. He (Garuba) has to build up stamina for a full 82 game season next year. Consistency. His role is simple though, same as Capela.....plus shooting 3's. Garuba per 36-minutes: 3 (3PA) at 25.0% (3P%). If he can get that up to 5 (3PA) and 34+ (3P%) then we struck gold. One of the few players that was a positive (+/-) at plus 6.6
Fast forward the rebuild. https://fanspo.com/nba/s/rockets/tr...picks-indy-get-7th-pick-and-tate-for-re-build
They are not great picks and Turner is a perfect fit. KPJ, Green, Jabari/Chet/Murray, Turner, Sengun = playoffs and solid core. Bird in the hand. Still have our 2023 pick if we have injuries. Jaygup, KJM, Garuba, Fernandez, Queen, Nix solid bench. Nets will not suck as long as Durant is there. Fanspo didn’t indicate nets was a swap so substitute Milwaukee pick.
I would rather have Jabari and Turner, than Chet and some crappy picks, but that’s just me. I’m actually ok with either Chet or Jabari if we can find a way to add Eason or Daniels. Any of these lineups will do for me: KPJ, Green, Jabari, Turner, Sengun KPJ, Green, Daniels, Chet, Sengun KPJ, Green, Murray, Turner, Sengun KPJ, Green, Murray, Eason, Sengun I want length, defense, and shooting out of my forwards. Any of these lineups would be great.

Chet does not play Turner role imo. Myles Turner is a true 5, Chet is a 4 and small ball 5. I'd try to move up from 17 and take a similar player to Turner in Mark Williams if trade for this player not available.
