Not quicker than Chet, especially on defense.

    My dream scenario

    KPJ
    Green
    Griffin (Trade Up)
    Holmgren
    Wenbanyama

The size, wingspan, rebounding, rim protection, shooting, efficiency, etc.

Some thoughts here… I agree if we get the first we go with Chet and don’t look back, the thought of an evolved Mitchell/Gobert is too enticing to pass up.

Banchero over Smith is interesting, as is Agbaji bring 3rd best fit at 17. I agree with both. However the Sharpe over Ivey ranking would be a huge roll of the dice. I’m going Ivey at 4, no hesitation.

This would be a HORRIBLE reason for drafting Banchero.

Been on the Keegan Murray train all year. I'd take him at 5 if Rockets pick ends up there. Plus defender and a 40% 3 point shooter. Why is this kid not getting overall #1 mentions??? Well because "99% of statistics only tell 49% of the story" :D Its a sexy year for 7 footers with skill, but I wouldnt be surprised if Murray ends up being the best player from the 2022 draft.

There are two players that lead their teams on both sides of the ball. Scoring, playmaking, defensive anchor, leadership and the successes.
Keegan Murray & EJ Liddell but because they are "geriatric" guys like AJ Griffin are projected higher.

Liddell entered last year's draft for feedback. Scouts told him working on shooting, defense and his body. This dude did it all in one summer.

Favorite thing about Liddell he just moved in silence doesn't post all the workout videos. Dude just gets it done.

Underrated athlete dude can sky and the amount of chase down blocks this dude gets... Smh.

He and Murray have great defensive fundamentals. Just incredibly disciplined.

Very sound and communicative players on defense for sure. Liddell is underrated. I'd have no issue with Stone taking him at 17 if still on the board. Either of these guys would be a day 1 improvement from Tate. Im not 'in love' with Murrays package off the bounce in isolation sequences offensively particularly the ability to break a defender with his handle, but I think he could improve there quite easily because of his premier shooting opening up the floor.

wow. Eason in the top 3 in both stats. Really surprised he’s at the top of those offensive stats. No way that guy falls out of the top 12. We just aren’t gonna have a shot at him unless we move up, but I have a feeling he’ll be in high demand. A team could fall in love with him and draft him or another team could trade up to grab him. He’s gonna be a riser, not a faller, as we get closer to draft day.

the other guy that I really like for our 2nd first rounder is Mark Williams, who is also high on both lists. Another guy I don’t see falling to 17.

if the rockets do their homework and identify “their guys” I hope they are aggressive about getting them. The universe of prospects worth spending a 1st rounder on is probably around 20 players, with a big range in value from 1-20. That means we need to be aggressive.

This guy thought Pat Mahomes is 6’ 10”? Lazy reporting is the most charitable interpretation for this clown.

He’d be a reach at 17 though? I feel that way about Kessler as well. If we traded back or picked up an extra pick in the 20’s I’d be interested in both at that spot.

The dude probably doesn't even watch basketball and somebody told him that was Patrick Mahomes. He's at an F1 race. I couldn't tell you any of the top 10 soccer players in the world except maybe one, so I kind of feel for the guy.

Yea but your role isnt to interview people at an F1 event. They're obviously trying to bring in an American audience so they just run around interviewing all these random American celebrities. Lol

Funny thing is he ran past Serena and Decade to catch "Mahomes". Groove machine is absolutely right... It's a TV broadcast they need to do better.
