True story:

Around 1989 I was walking home and I was 2 blocks away from home, but this guy stops and asks if I want a ride.

I, like a moron, said ok and got in the car. Luckily he was only able to go two streets before I told him to turn in front of my parent's house.

As I get out, the guy asks if I can get him some socks. I'm 17, so that's when the red flags started hitting. I said ok, and went in and grabbed socks. When I was coming back he asked for underwear.

I said NOPE and threw the socks in his car, sprinted back into the house & locked the door.

I guarantee I was a trial run for that guy. How I was so stupid & trusting at that point is beyond me. I think it was about being polite, of all things.

 

I know exactly what you're saying. I mostly only wear Crown Joules brand.
