This would be my preferred lanky rim protector! Look how he moves compared with Chet! This is the real "never existed" player.
There aren't many actual criticisms of Holmgren's game. Some people just look at his physique and are put off. They think he'll be injury prone without presenting any evidence that thin players get injured more often. Oden, Zion, and Embiid all had extremely strong builds and tons of muscle coming out of college, but that didn't prevent them from having serious injuries to start their careers. If people examined Holmgren's skills and production alone it's very unlikely he'll be a bust. Worst case scenario he'll be like Chris Boucher who is too thin to bang with centers but is a per minute monster. And his skills are so far beyond Boucher's.
Iso defense (points per possession) is a completely misleading stat. Especially for NBA which has become a switch heavy league. Why is this stat so popular in trying to push up value of average to horrible defenders???? Based on iso defense, Jalen Green is the best defender on the Rockets. And Christian Wood is the FOURTH best. Pure SHYTE.
