The misdirection of anger is weird, but it's gone to a point where it's just cluttering the thread. This thread is about Miami vs Philly, but instead of posts about how good Miami is playing, the tenacity of Tucker, the evolution of Maxey, the garbage play of Green and Thybulle and how Philly is down 0-2, all you see is Harden this and Harden that. There are plenty of threads in the Dish to talk about Harden, but all asiansensation does, is just post about Harden. Everywhere. GSW/MEM thread. PHX/DAL thread. What's the point of individual threads if they're all continuously littered with Harden posts? As to the bolded: If someone directly labels you or calls you names or otherwise puts your character into question, the next logical step is to clap back directly at the user. It's not to redirect your frustrations and go on a rant about an NBA player. If someone calls you an antivaxxer, you think talking about Harden is somehow getting back at them? Come on. If you really have a problem with the user, DM or PM them to settle things. Or hell, even report them if you really feel like it. This is a forum where public opinion is welcome. But there ARE neutral users, new and old, on this site - and if they just see Harden this and Harden that, there won't be new ideas shared and they'll just leave. Or their post about how Herro is playing great will be lost in all the Harden posts. So then the thread becomes an echo chamber / all about Harden, which defeats the whole point of having this thread open.

There is no evaluation of the rest of the squad beyond- not good enough. Morey is great so I bet he can unearth good players for spots 5-8. They need more shooting. They need a backup big. I wouldn't want to max Harden but they probably don't have a choice. They need to move on from Harris and Danny Green and find 2 true 3 and D guys to replace them with. Harden, Maxey, ____________, _________________ Embiid; Thybull, Back up Center, bench scorer, 3&D wing guy. That's 2 spots he's got to nail with real shooting on guys that won't get roasted on D, and 3 back end rotation guys. And he won't have all his picks to do it nor will he have a ton of cap space. I bet they get better over the offseason but if they re-sign Harden they damn sure better not ever have to count on him actually getting to the hole or being able to score 25 efficiently in the playoffs. Those times seem D U N done.

Maybe/Probably. More importantly (for Morey/Harden/Sixers fans) Harden needs to show he has something left in the tank moving forward. Even if he's slowed by conditioning/hamstring/etc he can't be performing as he has the second half of these playoff games. Harden has scored the same amount in the 2nd half of the first 2 games as Heat bench big Omer Yurtseven (8 points). He's taken just 9 shots total. He doesn't need to play like prime Harden or chuck it like Westbrook, Carmelo at their worst, but dude's got to play MUCH MUCH better/harder/more aggressive than he has in the second half of these games. Ironically Harden's performance right now is reminiscent of Ben Simmons in the 2021 playoffs.
Harden truly has dropped off big time. Even with Embiid, I don't think the would have gotten past Miami or Mil. Maybe trade Harris/Maxey to LAL for Lebron gives the a chance next year.

Keep dreaming. CP3 is disciplined on and off the court. Is Harden going to change his diet, get rid of his excess 25+ pounds of fat, stop clubbing dusk till dawn and get on a normal sleeping pattern and rest/recover/rehab properly? Doubt it. Even if he did Harden is the biggest turnover merchant of all time in the past decade and CP3 on the other hand is one of the most prolific and secure ball handlers of ALL TIME. Not all 18 points and 8 assists are created equal. The two couldn’t be further from the same. Put some respek on CP3’s name and quit tarnishing him by comparing him to a bum ass loser.
