I did enjoy Jake's "I'm getting too old for this ****" look/grimace on his face after he got up off the ground.

Great jump, long distance, full extension. It was for me one of the best open field catches I've seen. Only diving backwards or with obstacles could be more impressive, such as:

So in the last calendar year he's played games in the US,Dominican Republic,Mexico, and now Austrailia (should get to play in New Zealand as well)

At this point he really sucks, but he's getting paid to travel the world and play ball so that's kinda fun.

I don't know if he still maintains his residence in Houston, but when he was an Astro my friend's kids trick or treated at his house (they didn't know it was his house), and he answered the door and handed out signed baseball cards of himself from when he was on the A's.

I played on a company slow-pitch softball team that had two former minor league players on it. It was fun for them even though the rest of us sucked ****.

He gets to play baseball for fun in cool places without having pay a dime.

I feel like Josh Reddick will fit in nicely in Australia.

Nobody ever said everything he did was gold.

I'm just glad Liriano got one of the biggest outs in franchise history. Let's see if Sandoval can keep this up. His performance so far has surprised me.

I like an aggressive GM. Give me patades over prospects and a GM that will do whatever it takes to win.

Checking in on Luke Berryhill's season: solid. His OBP is down 55 points from last season and it's still over .400

Who he was traded for, Cionel Perez, is no longer with the Reds. He was claimed off waivers by the Orioles and seems to putting up a solid season so far. 0.87 ERA in 10.1 innings. His era is wildly outperforming his peripherals but he's still made some strides since leaving the Astros. He's cut his BB/9 rate from 8.53 to 4.35 in that small sample size.

I had high hopes for him as a bullpen guy, oh well. Had no idea where he was playing now, glad to hear he's having some success.

It's shocking to me that Singleton is still playing with some success in AAA. What has he even been doing over the past five years?

Nothing from '18-20, and then a comeback in the Mexican League last year.

I can't recall how many times Springer and Correa didn't play a game due to some random injury and then were out weeks or more.

I don't see Sandoval being anything special, more so than the starters we already have. I seriously doubt he suddenly turned a corner and will be a dominant pitcher. His numbers will be in the mid 3.50 before we know it and wouldn't be surprised with 4+ by years end.

I know you're saying we only got Maldy for him, but even Urquidy is fine on this team compared to Sandy.

One player I can't believe is still in the league is Jordan Lyles.

How does a guy have a career ERA of 5.18 and a 56/82 record be in the league for 11 years?
